We are all human afterall.
When we need to stand up for the country, we will all be so united till you cannot tear us apart.
But of course, we have internal fights here too.
Just like a family, amongst brothers and sisters.

i really dont thinks so,,
it is up to the individual in Malaysia. Although all of us are brought up in the same country, we grow by different culture(nothing to do with religion or race)
As a stupid example, my skool mates and i are brought up in the same state, district in fact. But i realise they dont even care to wash their hands when they are out of the toilet. Where as for me, my mom would chop off our hands if we dont.
Another stupid example, my family was the only different race in the whole kampung last time and my dad was the first graduate of the kampung but they stil treated us in a very wrong manner because of our skin color.
It is difficult to summarise the unity of Malaysian,, regardless their race, financial status, religion, it has always been the survival of the strongest,,
Still, my father taught me not to step on others if you are strong,, help the weak ones. |

united only when there is no conflict of interest, such as during sport event that involved the school/kampung/nation. Or may be when disaster struck like crime/flood/fire etc !
When it come to individuals interests such as the recently scholarship distribution, the wealth of the nation, the quota system etc etc then tension flare !
The root cause ? It was shaped by those so called politician long times ago ! |

We are united in some ways I believe. How else can this country prosper with three very different races and religions living under one small roof if not for a certain understanding developed amongst the people?
Its unfair to judge unity by looking through a pin hole. Even brothers and sisters quarrel and even parents ditch their own brood.
Its the politicians that draws the wedge between races and uses religion for their sick political ploy. |

Politics and personal views aside I kind of picture it to be a 'yes' that most Malaysians are indeed 'united' to a certain extent. I guess I shouldn't elaborate on that though... |
