My uncle is named Henry, but since he is the first male of their family, he was given the nickname of 'Boy.' |

According to American based Filipino stand-up comedian Rex Navarette, it is by law that all Filipinos are required to have either a Tito Boy or Tita Baby with the following exemptions
-You are that person people call Tito Boy or Tita Baby
-Your parents are either called Tito Boy or Tita Baby by others.
In the same comedy sketch he also says that every Philippine baranggay is required, again by law, to have a Baby's store or Aling Nena's store.
In my case, I have a Tita Baby.
And I tell all of my nephews and nieces to call me "Tito Kuya". |
