Do you have a goal you're pursuing in your life right now?

What factors are helping you with motivation?

To be able to communicate in Korean.

3 factors motivate me:
1. I would like to live in Korea for a bit sometime in the future, and knowing the language would make life much better in that case.
2. the encouragement Korean friends give me when I try to practice Korean
3. for me, learning a foreign language is just intrinsically a fun thing to do

Living In Korea
My goal at the moment is ensuring my wife is financially taken care of after my passing.

I never realized there could be so much paperwork !!

My goal in life is to be free and unrestricted, which is why I see no wife or kids in my future. I have received plenty of slander from others for these choices. Not to mention lies about my lifestyle. But then, freedom never comes without bearing scars.

I have a few goals and that is to start school and work(other than baby sitting) soon.
My motivation is my husband, he is a paramedic and he knows were he is heading in life. I respect that and admire a lot and so i wish to have his kind of stamina.

Another motivation is thinking about my future, if i don't go to school and get a good career (even if it is a small one) then what will happen to me in the future? If my husband and i seperate or if we are low on cash..i can't work in fast food industry all my life.

it is hard to get motivation and i know that i do things so slowly but hey i get through....no matter how long it takes.

get with this korean foreign exchange student that just transferred (i'm korean too, only an ABC but i can speak conversational korean)
she kinda looks like a high school version of BoA meets Lee Hyori
and also get really nasty at the guitar
hopefully i'll have a military post in korea if i sign up for the Marine Corps

I want to run my own business. Factors, watching all the jobs in my area that pay decent be shipped overseas.

My goal for the next year is to spend more family time in one place. (less travel) I feel we are always racing off to lands unknown and do not spend enough time just being together.
To achieve this, we have purchased a home on the water in the U.S. that we are renovating. Our plan is to spend vacations there together.

I always have goals...big and small ones.

I make lists of my goals each year and at the end, check off the ones I have achieved.

I hope to get married in Korea soon, and start a family. I am currently in college ;)

Getting married (next year)
Continue studying Korean language and learning, always
etc, etc, etc^^

Factors which help me are my family and also my girlfriend....we live very far from each other, so she always motivates me to do good things in life, and to try and be happy ~ as much as possible ^-^

Cheers ~ M.

My goal is getting a good paying job in Minnesota. I want to move there because there are 30,000 other Korean adoptees like me in the Twin Cities.

i want to work as a translator but my parents want me to become a nurse...

if i prove to them i can speak and survive in an asian country on my own, they might let me live my own life instead of theirs..

Don't Dream It's Over
This is related to travel - Korea how?

To answer the question anyway: I'm just making money in Korea and enjoying my life with one goal to travel all around Asia next year.
