For me, not really. You see, I am from down under not Australia but just over the two causeways.(one is a bridge).
Anyway, most of us have been in YAM for quiet a while answering to each other`s questions and over time, I suppose some sort of recreational bonding is created.
We are all in here to have fun, learn a thing or two from each other and that is what we will do......I think.

This is what I meant by having fun.and enjoy laughing.

When you hang out for too long in this section, you'll gradually get to know each other although there are some who are friends outside this virtual world. As for me, I've never met any of them in real life but it already feels like I know them for years.

Yeah, our avatars are great friends. They probably hang out together or meet up for tea when we are not around. Or maybe even have sleepovers like jedi said!

Personally, I haven't met anyone in real life. It's not until yesterday ( since jeffy's Q) that I know how some these people look like. And I don't even their names other than their IDs.
But we are familiar with each other cuz we meet here all the time.

Well, I'm a new yammer, so not yet feel connection. But when I play online games, I can meet new people, never really see them but their 'character' in the online game. They really cheer me up and they are really different than my friends at school. Not that I'm saying my school friends aren't great, they are.

i only know myself.. i kept prevent to be with someone unless my closest friends and family. the connection always come when we like someone and attract to somebody we don't know who they are and where they come from.. i mean, they 'come' from?!!

Lol, sure there is a sort of "connection". When u have been hanging around here for sometime, u come to feel that connection thing. Like, u hav an idea how someone would
react to some Q's - things like these. U somewhat form an opinion on the personality of somebody - of course, this is not to say that u are correct in your opinion.

But I sure had a real-time chat w/ someone pretty here and it is nice. Where I see the ID of someone I like, I do invite them to be my IM friends.
