When I returned from Japan, people wanted to know if I liked it. The reply I gave them was, "I could die there." They almost to a person said, "Don't you mean you could LIVE there?" Nope! I loved it so much I could go for a visit and just stay there till I died. Japan is sooooo lovely.

aside from 1 other person I think Im the only one over 14 on answering this question. Also has anyone actually been to Japan?
Yes, I live in Japan. Life in Japan has its ups and downs, like anywhere else. You get stared at and have stalkers, and people judge you before they know you.
However I have eternal friends here and am a part of society. strangers will still think of you as just another foreginer before they get to know you. I am grateful for my time here in Japan and the many experiences I have in Japan. I am gratefull for my language skills.
I know many people would love to come and visit Japan, Im happy that I can live here. It is as "so so so cool" as people say, but if you dont accept it as a normal life, it can be quite a tough place to live. ใงใฏใ€

I grew up with a dad who travelled to Japan a lot and always brought back stuff for me from his trips. So, I pretty much grew up obsessed with Japan and the culture! Unfortunately, work, school and other things have kept me from travelling there (yet!) but I am actually hoping to go next year. I think it's a beautiful culture and country.

I admire Japan. Its so different from the US in every way possible. Its food, its music, simply wonder full. I'm planing on teaching English in Japan. And I'm currently learning Japanese as well. I LOVE Jpop. Ayumi Hamasaki, Hikaru Utada, YUI, you name it!

Overall, Japan is a very nice country! Nihon-ga Dai-suki desu!

I think Japan is a beautiful place. I love the culture. Hopefully some day I will be able to visit it.

I have been there three times in the past year, and I love it. I've been to Tokyo, Osaka, Niigata, Kumamoto, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Yonezawa, Utsunomiya, and skiing at Mt. Naeba.

It is a beautiful, wonderful country. I'll be back there in November, and again in the Spring -- hopefully for Ohanami - if I can time it right! The people are wonderful, the food is good, and the traditions are great to experience!

Man, I love Japan to the fact I have a Japanese Myspace, Yahoo, and other things. I draw and have my own Manga I am doing. I love it to the point that I want to live in Kyoto or Tokyo. Tokyo would be best. But i love Japan.

As I am large for an American I did not fit in over there. The culture is very homogeneous and I had to always prove myself to be accepted. Once they met me and gave me a chance I made friends, but at first glance I was always a gaijin and not in a good way. Once I got some people to accept me it was great.
