You would probabley have to check your local laws, but unless you live in a city I doubt it be an issue. I would rec calling your local law enforcement and just ask them I wouldnt give full details just say you wanted to purchase one and wanted to make sure your within the laws with it. |

No, you do not need a license for any type of sword. The only catch is that you obviously can't carry it on your person. In order for something like that to be legal, it must remain at your home. |

No I have a large collection of swords and some are from japan. It really depends on your state/county/city laws and ordeninces. For example where I live you can own any kind of weapon except a concealed weapon (sword cane) |
