Yes in Pinas, we say CR. In college, it was LR. Here in the states, I know I should say restrooms but I'm still not used to it...and oftentimes I say CR....so to avoid the blank stares I'm sure to get, I just look for the little girl's room myself....lol

yeah!!! I remember, when I first came here in the US, I asked a lady where is the C.R., and she didn't have any idea what am I saying....!!!!!! so we use rest room, bathroom, or washroom here in the US and abroad...

but in the Philippines, it's comfort room....

when you have to go.... you are in a state of tense, unease, discomfort, irriation. when you let it go, you are rested, comforted.

Bathroom, restroom, washroom or powderoom. In Japan they just call it "toilet" so I often catch myself saying that when I am back home! I think "CR" sounds pretty nice though most people living over seas may not understand it at first.
