I wish I could experience that again.
I miss my college days when I have to squeeze myself in the sardine-packed jeepney, wait for hours in the traffic, be entertained by the dramas of life unfurling before my eyes - the "taka taks" of the "garilyo boys", the shouts of the "barkers", the micro mini of sexy makati office girls, the "ale" on the far end of the jeepney "breastfeeding" her baby, the "manang" on the opposite side praying the rosary in between her curses of the traffic and of the hot and humid weather, the students who have just cut their classes teasing each other, the sudden brakes of the driver, the "mama" reading "abante tonite", and the "pulis sa ilalim ng tulay"
I can just relive that only from my memory for now. Since there is no jeepney here where I am right now. |

I spent my high school and college days just riding in a jeepney. And still when we came back home last July, we still did, but the routes are different now, you have to take 2 rides to go Angeles City. |

I have my own private one I use for big family get togethers or when a group of us wants to go someplace.
PUJ's, rarely. The newer model ones are too short for me. |

Believe it or not, I prefer to be picked up at the airport by relatives in a jeepney than any airconditioned vehicle. You really get that "I'm back in the P.I." feeling in one of those. |
