Yes it was a great country long time ago, until corruption became rampant done by merciless politicians. But on the lighter side, i think it is still a nice country to live in considering the white beaches, fresh air in the provinces, hospitable locals & its abundance of tropical fruits. |

Was? It is still a great country in spite of everything (especially corruptions.) Yeah, aside from travelling to the 7,107 islands in the Philippines you will experience the unique charm of my historic land. People are naturally warm, friendly and hospitable.
My country is rich of culture & history, then you will discover more pristine white beaches, rainforests, mangroves, corals, marine sanctuaries & so much more. Then the Philippines is the world's third largest English-speaking country after the UK & the US then Philippines is the largest Christian country in Asia.... (--,) |

it is indeed a great country!!! it is a cradle of great people and i should be proud of my indigenous race... i also believe that God has blessed this nation and have chosen among other countries. Philippines was abundantly endowed with natures beauty, not to mention bunch of beautiful people, from inside out.. though there also a lot of opportunist, corrupt and greedy individuals that blemished our fine conduct, i guess our true nature will still be conspicuous. Sensible demeanor, patriotic and lovely citizens we really are. Some might not agree with this, but probably they are those who dubbed themselves the left. |
