Hell no. The working class people need some way to blow some steam after work. If they didn't then everything would be affected. Think about it the labourers wouldn't be able to escape their nagging wives and work parties would be worse than attending a funeral. |

...i don't imbibe so i shouldn't really care one way or the other. but i don't think people should be deprive of the finer things in life like bubbling champagne or exquisite wine just because some don't know how to handle themselves after a drink or two.
it's not the drink...it's the person. he should exercise better judgment and more control. |

They have tried that during the Prohibition days. And we all know what happened. The drinking continued, albeit underground and unchecked.
Drinking per se is not a bad thing. It is how people abuse the substance that is bad. The world would be much better if we all know what moderation means. Moderation in everything. |

I used to be a very wholesome person. No vices of any kind. Clean living type of guy. But I felt I was missing out on something in life.
That's when I started drinking beer and alcoholic drinks, in moderation of course, and I found them good! I learned that there is an art to drinking, and alcohol has health benefits too I heard when consumed in moderation.
Of course, there will be people who will abuse alcohol, and do crazy things, but I think the true drinkers enjoyment of beer and alcohol, together with the bonds forged through the company well outweigh the bad, and make life much bearable in the end. |

life would be better if there would be more help centers for alcoholics. they have problems.
and it will be hard to ban alcohol cause there are people drinking it only for taste, like one glass per week, you know. alcohol is nothing wrong, it gets wrong when its abused. we need to inspire people to drink less. |
