I am leaving for China tomorrow. We will visit two of the venues and more if possible. Tickets are still available. If you have a friend or contact in China (butler at hotel) he can buy the tickets for you. We did this last week.
The theme, One World, One Dream is worthy. If only the feeilng will last more than a few weeks! |

everybody that wanted to go to china has already left and got a hotel there already.. if you plan to go today, you probably can't even buy the tickets because its sold out. |

To go or not to go is a question for those who can affort to think of it, the rich. Ordinary people who are struggling to survive and not even TV to watch will never think of it. Only the business lots & the sports people will be keen to go.
What has happen and going to happen is not important to those people who are going. But whatever happen, the Games must go on and succeed because it is not only China but Asia being involved and the pride of success is for all Asian. |

Definitely. Sales of the Olympic tickets are already sold out. We should not mix politics with sports. That's not the right spirit.

I guess there will be at least 500,000 because the hotels are reporting that many rooms booked with passports for the games. |

I think a lot of Chinese people will go to the games.
Foreigners on the other hand have reportedly had hard times getting visas or tickets for the games. |

ONE WORLD - ONE DREAM - ONE WEEK
.....then everyone gets back to work, 'the largest cheapest labor force cannot sit idly by'
...not many people will go to China....the country 'wants, hopes, dreams, or even wishes' the world viewed China as a socially advanced world
....the degradation of Mao Zedong still pervades the Chinoise logic
...and the end result is existence among so many people trained to do the job 'of 0.2 to 0.3' normal people.
...that was done in order to avoid unemployment in China, the CPCP has ingeniously split up all jobs into 5 or 10,
...therefore, in China today, more than 4 people are required to make 1 complete thought that may or may not actually involve an 'individuals concern', or (wo dah tiennna) God Forbid, a 'problem'
.....also the general feeling among foreigners in China is that Chinese people do not 'handle' problems very well due to the controlloing interests of the CPCP....problems are to be avoided....at all costs!
.....therefore, in China if there is a problem, it wil be avoided at all costs
.....literally
.....China really 'dreams' that one day 'the world' may view it with some seriousness, as an acutally 'advanced society', but rest assured - the profitability of Maos' regieme are entrenched into the hearts and souls of the few Party Leaders who will soon relinquish control to their children...to continue the 'Asian masqaurade'
....Beijing air pollution:....now you see it, now you don't, ooops there it is again, but alas, soo the Olympics are over, soo who cares (to date CPCP has spent over $71 billion, just to create clean air for 2 weeks!
.....who truly believes any furthur money will be spent after the Olympic party has concluded?
....has anyone else ever seen the massive coal and coke trains vigorously operatiing in China
...there is not any intent here to stop polluting air by coal (ever)
...this all sounds harsh, and it is all about a very harsh government ruling in a very harsh manner, without any impetus for long-term improvement
.....please tell me why a small group of immensely wealthy people, who controll the world's cheapest / largest labor force, ever change that situation for doing business? |
|

dreamweaver

I am NOT interested in going to China to watch the Olympics based on the following reasons:
1. I don't like the country...being there and knew what to expect!
2. Do not want to be in the same venue with the Chinese who DO NOT know how to be civilised. Point in case: cutting queues, shouting loudly and behaving rowdy at Games venues!!
3. The infamous pollution in Beijing (eventhough they said it will clear by then).
4. The millions of eyes (I meant, STARES) on foreigners when you walk around China.
