My boss also don't declare Thaipusam+NuzulQuran+Awal Muharam as holiday. i guess 16 days is okay...that's the beauty of multirace...

Annual Leave : 14
Sunday : 48
Saturday : 24
Total Holiday for me : 102 days.

Based on my current calculation, total number of holidays doesn't reach 365 days per year yet. So, it's obviously not enough!

Malaysia has too many holidays? Wait til you come to Bayern, Germany. Every two to three weeks, there will a holiday. That is besides official federal holidays and five days work week. Every 6 to 7 weeks, there will be a festival. In fact, I told my family Germany is a country of festivals. hehehe

In my opinion, Pak Lah made a wise decision to declare Thaipusam as Holiday in KL and Putrajaya because ... during that day we (KLite) will experience heavy traffic congestion .. so better sleep at house at let our Hindu friends proceed with their ritual and celebration ...

no not really,u see there r many holidays in western countries,like winter holidays,summer holidays etc.there r all holidays in whole month with pay.

me, just got a 9 days mc last week. half spent being admitted to med. center.
came to work today, wednesday cuti lagi...
aiyak!!!! next week wednesday have to go for follow up x-ray lagi.............
very2 down la, work quality this first month of 2008.

my previous co. don't declare thaipusam, nuzul, Maulidur Rasul & wesak. i only get 14days of Public holiday
