Agree with you.
Others are so righteous about themselves, attack other religions and claims they are the only ones who will be saved. |

Religion is a very sensitive issue. Only matured adults can handle it with grace. |

I did get points (err.. credits I mean) in Philosophy 110, 201, and 451 in college for talking about religion for pure philosophical pleasures only. XD. I'm done with that. I respect everyone's religion as long as that religion doesn't harm me in any way. |

we christians wr taught to respect other people's beliefs and religion.
those kind of people are just insecure cuz we all seem like we're satisfied and happy about our religion and theyre not. so they throw insults and play with our heads and act aggressive to make themselves sound right.
the answer: they're jealous. |

i don't really get people who do this... what is there to prove? We are different people therefore has different believes! Why cant people accept that and go on with our respective lives. |

in the muslim religion, no!
for God said there is no compulsion in religion
and that the duty of every muslim is but to deliver the message, not ridicule, insult, force, attack convert others to islam or slaughter them if they do not want. Every one has a free choice to join and serve what they think is right.
there is an article in islam that states that many of the dwellers of hell would be religious missionaries/ mujaheedins for they have delivered islam not in a goodly exhortation, and not have disputations with non muslims in the best manner. |

I don't see others point in that. Everyone of us have our own different beliefs in life. Whatever that is.. that is not our concern anymore. We should learn to respect them and in what they believe for.
The important thing for me is do the right thing for others and to God. |

Let all of us practice our own faiths according to what we believe. That is exercising our freedom - freedom to choose which religion and freedom to worship our God. Let us let God decide who is right or wrong. Matthew 7:1 "Judge not that you be not judged."
However, in Exodus 20:2-17 God said "3 Do not have any other gods before me.
4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, ......"
The above verses explain carefully why we must not bow down or worship idols, icons, images etc. However, it does not give us license to censure others for doing so. We may point out the defects in their practices; whether they listen or not, it's their own lookout. As I have mentioned, let us allow God to decide the rightness of all these things. |

I do not think faith is a matter of getting brownie points from God. People especially religious people assume that they have to do something FOR God when in fact it is the other way around. God has already done everything for us, He just wants us to start to understand this and then God can work through us by doing good works not by our strength but by that given us through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Respecting other people's faith is necessary and sharing our own faith should be done with love. I agree with pero102. |

NO extra points.. Remember, there is salvation outside the Church. It doesn't matter what religion you are in, as long, as you believe that there is a God and do good things. |

No one gets Pogi Points from GOD. Nothing that man can do would earn Pogi Points from God.
Preaching, Teaching, Rebuking, Correcting are not synonymous to Attacking.
have you given it second thoughts that you can perceive it this way,
Sheira Madre's head hunters - does the Phil. Gov. attacks their cultural/religious belief when they say it is wrong to kill?
Doctors correct people from spit wiped on the belly of a child as a cure for tummy aches? is this not the belief of filipino folks?
Yeah MUSLIM's too do you respect the hindo's who worship Cows and drink cow piss? i'm guessing some Christians would snarl and make fun of them too!- "respect their faith, er ***"
now if someone preaches, teach, corrects or whatever they say about his/her belief is an "attack on religion" - i would say they're onion skinned people who just wouldn't want to listen and turn from their ways. |
