Do you trust your personal Q at yAP will get an honest personal A?

Since I'm a "congenital liar", I think I should only get what I deserve.

But then, people are so unpredictable.

And mostly, kind to me. I daresay they are honest with me most, if not all the time, and it is I who am the one mostly playing around.

i don't ask personal Q's most of them are just for fun yung iba gawa gawa ko lang.

Sure! I looked back over some of the answers that were voted best answers. One for example - How much does it cost to build a home in the Philippines? WINNER "MUCH CHEAPER IF YOU BUILD UNDER A BRIDGE." I do not even know if some that ask questions really want correct answers or just some cute off the wall reply. Because of my doubts I would never ask a question that I needed a truthful, correct or honest answer to on yahoo. I remember once a 15 year old stated she was about to run away from her dad's home and a man said send me your email address and I will arrange to meet you and help you get to your Mothers home. I sent in saying be very cautious about giving your email address to anyone you do not know and I was blasted that it is okay to do so on YAHOO you have ways of checking on YAHOO to see if the person is okay or not. SURE!

You may throw a personal question at YA, but its also good to get a second or third opinions from close friends and relatives (who you know would really cares and have concerns for you) as well before making any decision especially those that may change your life.

Yes. Usually. It depends. Lol! Sometimes I believe the answers I get are seriously honest, sometimes serious jokes. :]

Definitely. Qs are what YA is for so if your Q is personal you will get a personal A. However, if your Q is not W then most likely R will be given rather than a TTA. Just be H with your Q and L everything else to F.
GL!

jd
No that would be asking too much. Some are just flakes.

I think I asked one question re which dress is ok to wear in a Philippine wedding, I believe it's considered a personal one but hey, I need reassurance and who else can answer my question than the users/people who are in the Philippines.

Now, if you meant personal Q's like "Should I date him? Should I marry her?, etc.", well I don't see anything wrong with that, except that it may be against Yahoo Answers TOS. It's up to asker if he thinks the answers are genuine. Some may rather ask personal questions/ seek advice from strangers since asking people close to them may be an embarrassment or he/she doesn't have anyone around to give him/her advice.

Yeah. That's why my Q's only get 1 or 4 answers.

But I hardly ask.

annabelle p
If you know the person who answers your Q, there is a high probability that person will give an honest A.

Have I ever lied to you? hehe..

dart
This is not a good place for personal questions.

My opinion.

nobody here really knows you. You are just words on the screen. I wouldn't trust it. No.

I would have to check first myself and how I post my question.

Sometimes you tend to be too playful, that you would be getting playful answers too.
Like this question...figure it out!=P

Though there are times that there would be a ceasefire with some jokes and deal with something serious.

Personally, I am expecting mixed responses from my questions. We cant please everybody, so to speak. I have made friends here in YA that even if I often throw jokes at them, and the same to me; they would know if you would need a dire serious, straight response .

Dont feel bad...trust me when I say that I will answer your questions, no matter what! xD

Hope his helps.

I STARTED USING YAHOO ANSWERS POSTING MY PERSONAL QUESTION AND I GOT HONEST, FRANK AND BRUTAL ANSWERS. I ALSO POSTED MORE LATER.

I could just e-mail the person I trust here in YA!P... I guess s/he wouldn't mind not getting points if it's a personal Q...

I don't expect a personal A cause I don't give such a personal Q in the first place =p
