I toss it in a huge jar and then deposit it once a year. You'd be surprised how many hundreds of dollars you can collect each year just in pennies.

i save them up and coinstar they every month then use it on gas. about 8 buck a month in pennies for me

And then again I always put in my two cents :)

Yes, I do keep them for my groceries!
... but I'm gonna miss them (1 Cent) once they are ceased production due to high copper costs.

It has been one of my irritating habit of collecting 1sen coins and I kept in a big fat glass jar along with my 5sen coins. I never bothered counting it and god knows what I should do with it.

A suggestion would be nice if I should continue the habit or should I exchange it to the bank and later spend it on paying toll?

i put all my pennies in a jar and eventually i roll them up and i get about 30 dollars

i throw them away when possible even though they come in handy when freaking stores charge 4 or 3 cent tax and wont let u slide for it

I save every coin in a piggy bank. Believe it or not my husband and I went on a trip only on the coins we had saved for a year!

I get rid of them when paying for purchases at supermarkets & fast food restaurants.

I try to...i mean people leave them everywhere, imagine if you collected every single penny you found! You could buy something with at least a little bit of value.
