Yeah sure it does. But it is programmed to do certain things and respond to certain things in a certain way. Its far from perfect at this point as far as I'm concerned.

Artificial Intellegence (A.I.) is the capability of machines to think for themselves on what is right and wrong based on the situations and circumstances that it involves. to cut it short, it is like replacing the capability of humans to think and let the machines do the thinking for us. this technology is not been achieved yet and we can only see this for now on sci-fi movies like spielberg's "A.I" but science is continously growing and man's insatiable search for answers never stops so i think we will discover this only that we dont know when.

A.I now exist in some modern factories in a limited function, especially in car manufacturing yards and micro-electronic plants.

The real function of A.I is to replace humans in workforce. Just picture the world in the next couple of decades where all A.I's operating and dictating your everyday living!

Yes. There are a number of practical applications currently in commercial use. An important one is voice recognition, which is often used to recognize numbers, and is starting to be used for other purposes.

not yet, we really havent advanced in comuting, that is we are making htem smaller and faster but we havent yet achieved A.I. which is supposedly the next generation. google the touring... turring tourring( SP?) test
also we assume a mahcine that is AI would think and talk like us however in all likelyness t will not:
planes work nothing like birds but we still fly
