Frustrated? No!!! Disappointed? Yes...Maybe!!! Honestly, I don't think He's capable of feeling any of these "human" imperfections. The thing is we're talking about an all-loving God who is omnibenevolent...thus His love for us is endless, generous and His mercy, divine. I'm sure He feels deeply hurt when we err (sin) but I'm sure too that He is always ready to forgive us when we repent. I think there's no room for frustration in His heart. |

Yea, that's why He sends us his only Son to save us or else.. we've already vanished a long time ago. <*-*> |

Yes, He does!
And when He does, watch out! Look what He did:
1. He banished Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden.
2. He burned up the cities of Sodom and Gommorah.
3. He turned Lot's wife into a pillar of salt.
4. He flooded the earth for 40 days and for 40 nights.
5. He left the Israelite wandering in the wilderness for hundreds of years without food until He sent manna from heaven.
6. Abraham would not believe that wife Sarah could still bear a child (Isaac) even at old age, so He rendered Abraham speechless for months.
7. He cast plagues all over Egypt when the Pharaoh refused to let Moses and the Israelites go..
These were just a few manifestations of God's frustrations. |

The bible talks about may things where God got sad as well as angry at the free will choices we as humans were making.
So logically there would have to be times where He would have been frustrated at all the wrong/poor choices we make and continue to make rather than really trying to do what is right.
However, it is also important to remember for us to understand what God really is and how He really feels from our limited worldly viewpoint is impossible.
May Our Creator watch over you and your family. |

No, He doesn't. He is full of patience which is why He gives us time to repent and reform. He knows our limitations as human beings, He is willing to wait. No matter how often we sin, He is ready to forgive us whenever we ask His forgiveness 77 x 7 times. |

"Allah! There is no god but He,
Al-Hayy (the Ever-living), Al-Qayyum (the Self-subsisting, Eternal).
No slumber can seize Him nor sleep.
His are all things in the heavens and on earth.
Who is there that can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth?
He knoweth what appeareth to His creatures as before or after or behind them.
Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth.

I don't think so. If he is Alpha (the Beginning) and Omega (the End), then He knows what plans are going to waste, what great ideas will come to naught, what promises will be broken, which white lamb will turn to black, which Angel will turn to Demon. Therefore, since everything is known to God,
there can be no frustration, or feeling of dissatisfaction, often accompanied by anxiety or depression, resulting from unfulfilled needs or unresolved problems, nor the feeling that accompanies an experience of being thwarted, nor annoyance at being hindered or criticized. |

A true answer is that your concept of the Creator is biased.
But just to answer the question - obviously god must be frustrated in the things that we humans in the planet of this solar system are are obsessed with. |

Yes. But because he loves us he's not just going to kill us all dead. Seriously with all the crap going on in the world and the crap of years past you'd think he would wipe man off the face of the Earth (Noah included). |

I think he is disappointed in us sometimes. And when the Israelites ignored Him, and didn't follow Him, He got frustrated. |

I feel that God gets fustrated when we don't obey him. Doing things that aren't correct because we are not following his will. Instead using our flesh to control what we do and how we act. |

From my POV, (i'm Roman Catholic), God does not get frustrated. Frustration denotes a negative feeling and for me, God is a perfect being devoid of negativity. Also, frustration stems from not being able to do or get something but God can do anything. Yes he gets angry in the bible but being angry and frustrated are two very different things. He can be angry if we do not follow His Word but it is His choice to give us the freedom to do what we think is right. If He were frustrated, He would have made us like robots and we would be people who wouldn't sin. |

Nah, not human. Frustration is a human emotion. |

Wouldn't you get frustrated if a bunch of maniacs around the world were killing innocent people with in the name of some twisted version of a peaceful religion? |

frustration is an emotion felt by animals and people ... a survival mechanism that causes us to either try harder or give up on a given task..... whether god gets frustrated or not depends entirely on what god means to you... most christians create god in their image... in the bible he destroyed the world in a huge flood... a sign of frustration... since i am primarily taoist, god for me remains ever unmanifest , and frustration is a thing that arises only in contrast to non-frustration. god is between being and nonbeing , as well as between frustration and non frustration... so since one has to be to be frustrated, and since as soon as god is, he is no longer god... it is impossible for him to be frustrated... but then again, truth and non-truth arise together, and so because i have spoken it, it is either one or the other, and since the heart of the real truth about god exists at the moment before i spoke of it, this thing i just spoke may be true, but if it is, then it is no longer about god, because god is not yet beginning to be in the not yet location in time and space of the not yet true.... if you got what i just said... you know god better than i do, and already know the answer to your own question.... if you didnt understand a damn thing i said... the only god you know is internal to you, and so he gets frustrated at the same exact time and place as you do |

I would imagine that if he exists, or is some trans-conscious being and actually "becomes" us all, as is suggested, that yeah, collectively speaking we are a fairly frustrated species. |
