I am a Singaporean and i would say Dr. M is better because he had 24 million people to satisfy whereas we only have about 4 million. He also is not afraid to stand up against the US whenever there are discrimination anywhere in the world. LKY? He only covers his own as*.

well, my 2 cents worth ...
Dr M will never be close to the top of the list of politicians. I think he has lost a lot of credibilty with the world of politics in alienating many key leaders of the world and condemning US policies and also used to run a corrupt govt. the anwar affair too made him lose his credibility. LKY on the other hand, needless to say, is tops with all world leaders, supporting the war against terrorism, paving trade inroads with many developed countries, investing in many developing nations, not dabbling into other people's problems.
LKY wins hands down.

Personally, not being biased, i think both are the winners. Both are really good. But LKY only rule a small country, small population. Mahathir rule a big country, big population, big problem.
