It depends on how tan they are. I have seen some people who are orange because they tanned WAY too much! I would probably say fair.

To those saying tan is natural: Isn't fair natural also?! Fair is just what you are when you don't go out and tan all day!

To limit the definition of beauty to one's skin color is preposterous, if not bordering ethnocentric or racist. Sorry, but I don't buy the "one skin color is more beautiful than the other" notion.

Of course most of us will reply that tan-skinned women tend to be more beautiful than fair-skinned women. And that's true. I think it's because we associate darker skin with good health, as opposed to pale skin being associated with being ill. As always though, there are exceptions. There are plenty of movie stars who are fair-skinned and have exceptional beauty, such as, Nicole Kidman, Scarlett Johannsen, etc. Another thing to remember is that women who spend alot of time in the sun trying to get suntan will also have older looking skin in their later years. Their fair-skinned women friends will look younger longer. If you're naturally darker skin toned, then that would not apply.

both... you have to take the woman as a whole, the sex appeal, the skin, what's in her brain, how she carries it all... etc etc etc.

i think it goes with the personality. tan-skinned or fair complexion will be beautiful or nice if a woman can carry it... i mean, if she can carry herself well... a deep confidence with what her skin color is....

fair-skinned here... but i also consider the beauty of tanned..
