I am a Filipino and I am not bothered when a countryman calls me "Pinoy" instead.
But I would really prefer to be called "Pogi", especially by the ladies, who never called me that. I've heard all sorts of loving names, like "Idiot", "Moron", "Imbecille", "Inutil" with or without the "e" at the end, but never that praise I mentioned. |
