let's get rid of the crab mentality. it's time that we unite as one already and not pull down each other.

This is for SOME filipinos, The "put 'em down" attitude. When someone that they hate get a high position or a good thing they give them negative comments.

crab mentality. when you're down and having problems, they're sympathetic and they're with you and they comfort you. but when you're happy and become successful, they become jealous and start talking behind your back.

also, if you're not "in" they tend to ostracize you.

Their defeatist attitude. Like just because you are poor, it has to be that way. And because you are born with a defect, you let that defect deter you from going after your dreams for fear of being laughed at or ridiculed or made fun of. Then, sometimes, you try to defend your kind of attitude by indulging in self-pity which doesn't get you anywhere at all.

If I get to choose only 1, I would pick our "Lack of Self-Discipline".

I believe this trait will bring us to the anticipated development (as an individual and as a nation).

If we have self-discipline:
1. we'll have a clean and green environment,
2. so many things will be accomplished in a day,
3. we have no or less enemies,
4. we're healthy,
5. there'll be no cases of corruption,

and the list just goes on, but ultimately,

6. definitely we're happier.

It is difficult to think of changing culture, habits and attitudes of a big population because we are what we are. Maybe, the parents should have the good attitude of fine living for their children to follow and the school to imbibe the good manners and right conduct to be good citizens and eventually leaders with integrity.

You can't change other people's attitude, but you can change your attitude. No one's perfect, so I'm sure you yourself are not without faults.

If only people will take interest in their own affairs and start looking what they themselves are. People who are always aiming to change the attitude of others are oftentimes viewed as "pakialamera" or " holier than thou" which could stir controversy, anger/hatred. To avoid that, let us begin changing our own attitudes, and accept that there is certain traits within us that are inappropriate.

hmm, some tend to put all the blame on the government for every mishap in their lives but you don't see them striving nor doing their part as a citizen &

I just want showbiz talk shows to be banned on air.hehe

it's not healthy. OA! Parang it's the only thing that matters in the universe.
