Personally, I do agree with you. Why trust our fate to beliefs and superstitions if we have a God far greater than anything else? Romans 8:31 says "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?"He will never desert us and leave us as orphans for it says "For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me? (Heb 13:5-6 NKJV)" In Psalm 56:11 it says "In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?" In Psalms 118:6 we read "The LORD is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?" He is even for us when we are against him or not walking according to His will. He will never leave us for that would be contrary to His nature and love toward us who are in Christ.

Fridays
Fridays have been considered an unlucky day since the medieval times.
It is generally considered bad luck to start anything on a Friday - a new journey, job, marriage, business project, giving birth, moving house
It is unlucky to cut fingernails and hair on a Friday.
In Britain, Friday was the conventional day for public hangings, and there were supposedly 13 steps leading up to the noose!
Friday is consider an unlucky day in some religions
-Muslims tout Friday as the day Allah created Adam
-Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit on a Friday and later died on a Friday.
-Christians consider Friday as the day on which Christ was crucified by the Romans

Nothing seems different from the moment I woke up. Except for a stiff neck, hehe. I don't believe in friday the 13th either but Friday the 13th the movie I like.

bad luck - i woke up late, i missed the TV show I have been waiting for days, and i don't have onions for the dinner i'm going to make. =))

i guess you make your own luck. if you have all the negative vibes believing you'll have bad luck today, you will definitely have some. Otherwise, if you try to negate the bad vibes, then you'll have a day not more bad than any other.

nO, i DON'T believe in bad luck falling on friday the 13th. It is just coincidence if someone does experience misfortunes on that date. anyone can suffer bad luck any day of the week, of the month.

haha ive really only had one unlucky friday the 13th in grade seven ... we wrote a bunch of stupid / immature questions in the "anonymous" box for the nurse to answer when she came, well the teachers read through them all when we were in a different class and called us all down .. they were pretty pissed :P
