sweet but vey ordinary... why, you can give your gf a dozen roses anytime, why wait for Valentines?

Instead, you should give her something very special that you yourself made, a drawing, a painting, or maybe a poem...

Or maybe, you can surprise her ... cook for her or anything you know that will extremely please her..

The guy is doing what is EXPECTED of him (no surprises there!) but a very sweet gesture nonetheless. Might I suggest a spin from the ordinary...how about a rose a day from Feb. 1st and then 3 big ones on the 14th? Long may you love!

12 red roses? that is just so typical. if i were the girl, i would appreciate the gesture and the thoughts that go with it.

although i'd appreciate it more if he will really research my favorites (for example, my favorite flower is not red roses but blue roses or tulips). and yeah, since i am drawn to the poetic, romantic type, a poignant letter or a poem by him would really win me over.

or he can go overboard and reserve us a dinner in my favorite restaurant or a trip to my favorite travel destination.

Of course he is being sweet and an appreciated that he giving a dozens of the red roses because that he shows it of his partner for being love,caring and affection and they spend together for the rest of their lives
