Angel Eyes
I would change it myself, have had to a few times...

Haha, in high school I got a flat tire and put on the spare tire...the next day I was driving home from school and got a flat on the spare tire, so I was screwed...lol

-------

Why would I lie? It's not that hard to change a tire...the hardest part is getting the actual tire off once the lugnuts are off...other than that it's actually pretty easy...

jack up the tire almost completely off the ground & start loosening lugnuts, jack up tire all the way...take off 3 lugnuts, then hubcap off, then other 2 main lugnuts off, then tire off...put on the spare, then 2 main lugnuts on, then hubcap on, then the 3 other lugnuts on - tighten lugnuts in a star formation (across from each other,etc)...jack car down slightly to tighten up lugnuts as much as you can...jack car completely down...done deal...

and I even have the ghetto jack you have to do by hand - turn, rotate, turn, rotate...about a million times...

call my Hero lahh....that's the kegunaan of boyfriend =D
or i call my despatch

I'd call for help, not cry for help. I hate having my hands dirty. Have you tried changing tyres with most of the times wearing office suit and high heels? No way.

The benefit of being a damsel in distress is that there are a lot of guys who's willing to stop and help. I'll just make sure I lock the car and my handphone and pepper spray is with me at all times.

kathy w
guys.. not all girl going to cry about it.. its just changing the tire. no problemo!

greenorlagh
I'd fix it. Wouldn't go crying...why should I?

Change it. What good is crying about it going to do? It just happens. I think every person boy or girl should have to learn to change a tire, check fluids and change/check Oil before ever learning to drive..

I think they change the car........XD

edit - To HP's question, I will, if she flags (don't get it wrong, not FLASH), if not, no.

hushpuppy
attempt to change. if that fails, call for back up.
if that fails, ask for help around...

or hopefully some nice people would offer to help!

would you as a man, when you see a woman stranded on the street, get out of your car and offer to help?

i too,agree with shah....hehehehehe

*touch wood*. I have not encounter such incident yet but I did have a minor accident a long time ago which completely blew up one of my tyre. I was very lucky that it happened on a busy part of town so even though it was past midnight, a gentleman immediately stopped his car beside me and offered to help. He even left me (for a while) to get his friends' help (as he had an appointment with his friends nearby). Even two patrolling police on motorcycles stopped to make sure of my 'safety'. I will forever be indebted to all the good samaritans of that night.

To Shah,
No offence Shah but you really shouldn't be so presumptuous in your comments because you could never know that there are many capable independent women out there. Please try to be more humble in your opinions instead of calling people liars outright.

Hip hip hooray for Malaysian girls!!! This is what I love so much about Malaysia. Gender equality. In the US, girls would fight for it but not follow through with the responsibility. They want equality but when the going gets tough, they bail out. Like changing a car tire, I have seen girls would sleep with any guy to get them change the tire.
