almost everything about both stations are the same. but i'll go for abs-cbn.

when it comes to drama, abs-cbn. gma's local tv shows are downright corny. their dramas are so campy that they suck! i couldn't even bear watching jean garcia saying "over my dead curvaceous baga!" or marian rivera trying her luck.

however, when it comes to korean tv shows, gma is the better choice. i'm so sick of korean romantic comedies, and the only rom-com that i can enjoy is "my name is kim sam-soon" (my lovely sam-soon). luckily, korean shows in gma are much more mature and saner, compared to the nonsense teen dramas abs-cbn can offer.

and when it comes to business ethics, i go for gma. no, i'm not saying that gma is perfectly ethical, but abs-cbn is very notorious for manipulating the masses and for making dirty tricks. abs-cbn also tends to be very xenophiliac (or having a bad case of colonial mentality), which isn't so good.

I would choose GMA over ABS-CBN why? is that because GMA has better shows than ABS...proof? why abs cheated on the ratings? Even on news GMA is better...ABS has the "kinikilingan" part.... actually i'm a freelancer so don't ever call me a fanboy.... actually it's all BUSINESS... look at primetime... ABS conquers the mature people who likes dramas.... while GMA conquers....almost everyone...(i.e Zaido, Marimar,etc...) What does GMA target?? for all ages.... and ABS targets only the mature and old people... that's why GMA leads in the primetime ratings... that's what we call MARKETING

i choose the programs i watch not the chanel stations- you'll be missing a lot of things if you're a "purist". net 25 is also good, IBC 5 RPN 9 also got a lot of good programs.
but which is better?
i guess its matter of perspective of what programs you like- i like to be well informed so i Q11 and Net 25

ive been a kapamilya and kapuso since i was a kid..i like tgis,click,mara clara,ang tv etc..but then i got bored with abs cbn shows coz even at the start of a certain soap opera,its already predictable.no offense meant for abs.the actors r good but the story line is somewhat boring.like in bituing walang ningning and pangarap na bituin.i love the jewel sisters but as usual,its predictable after the sibling rivalry between sapphire and emerald and eventually the ending..its like all of the stories being molded at drama dept of abs cbn is abt taking revenge,love triangles,rags to riches kind of story.unlike in bakekang,i didnt really think crystal will die and also michael..but in fairness i love sharon cuneta,the late rico yan,diether and the jericho-kristine loveteam and also john lloyd-bea and in gma,i love marky cielo..i just hope that the people behind abs cbn can come up something diff this time..

everyone is unique and special, we have different types of taste when it comes to everything, the old saying "its in the eye of the beholder" is accurate here, and my taste is GMA specially their comedy shows

ABS-CBN puro drama at iyakan kaya panay matatanda nanonood nagiging spoiled bratz yung mga bata sa parents
like example "namatay yung panganay na anak sa gimikan at babawalan naman ng magulang yung bunso nilang anak na kapag my gimikan huwag ng sumama sa kanila sunod naman ang loko".

GMA-7 panay fantasia serye pero mga mature role yung gumaganap pinapakita nila na ilagay mo sarili mo sa kanila na you'll make yourself on your own decision and be yourself.
like example "in time of crisis kapag my conflict you'll make your own decision my mag-sacrifice for them kung patay PATAY ganun lang ang buhay at least nagawa nila what they want na walang pumiigil".

I don't know why Manilineos love Eat Bulaga. The show is so booooring. I feel tired at the sight of vic sotto and tito sotto (but joey is hilarious). Ang tatanda na nilang dalawa at hindi na nila nakukuha ang kiliti ng mga teens. Sana mag retire na sila at palitan ng ibang host para mas gaganda ang show sa taste ko. Sobrang dry naman ang set ng eat bulaga. Bulag ba ang designers nila? I mean, halos puro primary colors ang ginagamit sa set, walang color theory. Pakiusap, Vic at Tito, tama na...

SA abs naman, willie, hindi na effective ang paiyak-iyak mo. Nakakatuwa ka, hindi mo makukuha and loob ng mga tao dyan sa pathetic mong approach. Pero bilib ako sayo kasi napapasaya mo ang mga tao kahit nag-iisa kalang, pero parang nilalait mo naman yung mga poor mong contestants. Wag naman ganun...

In summary, walang nakapasa sa taste ko. Yung mga fantaserye nyo ha, pls lang, butihan nyo naman yung animations... kakahiya. Sabi pa nila palagi, parang lord of the rings yung effects... Anong pinagsasabi nyo? mga AMBISYOSO!!! Pare pareho kayong mga pangit na network....Pangeeeetttttttt!!!!!!! hmp!

Of course it's ABS-CBN.. the home of the Kapamilya's.. o well.. I like GMA too but not like ABS... sorry kapuso's...

GMA or ABS-CBN are almost the same showing similar programs with lots of advertisements. Depending on how long you started viewing their soap operas, the more you will
stick to them.In our case, we choose ABS-CBN BECAUSE. THEY HAVE more talented and beautiful hosts. In our village I Have 5 neighbors who are also kapamilya.

abs all the way.
that's only because i dont have gma.
but i tried watching at my friend's house, i didnt really like it.
i enjoy all the shows on abs cbn.
well the only thing i like on gma is bubble gang,
corny, but good.
