I lived there for 3 years teaching English. I lived in Hamamatsu for one year and Koriyama for 2 years. I also traveled to all 4 main islands. I had a great time.

Yes. I spent four weeks there living with a host family. I'm actually preparing to go back for a year next year.

If you're thinking about going there, it is a great experience. Japan has a lot of cultural and historical sights, along with good people (and food).

Yeah, I was stationed in Iwakuni Japan for a year and a half. During that time I visited several cities, including hiroshima, kobe, and fukuoka. It is a beautiful country with low crime but it can be kind of expensive. One of my best memories is seeing mt fuji above the clouds from the airplane as we were about to land. Beautiful!

I was there for 6 mouths in the military and I loved it so much that Aim planing a trip back there this fall.

I went there last Christmas. To Osaka. Despite the fact that Japanese hate Black people, I actually like it there (I am Black). Too bad for me. It's like chasing sunsets.

Yes, i've been to Japan several times.
I've ever been to Hokkaido for personal traveling,taken Shin Kan Sen from Hakata,Kyushu to Tokyo.
Great experience.

I lived in Tokyo for three months. It's a great country, but I was also happy to be back home - the Tokyo apartment was the size of my living room :-)

Don't think you're asking a question here, but just a general chat. I just got back from Japan yesterday and the one place that hardly gets mentioned is Himeji. Been there and thought that was the second best place to visit after Hiroshima.

Yes, I was in Izumi-shi, Osaka, Japan. I also visited Nara and Kyoto.

2 years ago. I've visited Japan 2 or 3 times. It's a great place. The only bad thing is that they don't have English signs and in Disneyland and Universal Studios, there's only Japanese! I don't know that language!

Yeah, I was just there last month. That was my 3rd time visiting Japan.

It really is a beautiful place to visit, though living t here can be quite expensive ><.

Best part about Japan was visiting my boyfriend of course :P
