Yes i go there every year with my wife and 3 kids,we all love it there, the beautiful beaches,clear waters of the blue seas,friendly people,great food especially the seafood which is fresh and i 1/10 of what it cost,s in England,Philippine San Miguel anyway i better stop now i could go on and on.

I visited here many, many times. Then when early retirement with redundancy came up. I chose to live here with my Filipina wife.
I am now resident in Cebu, and life is good, and life is happy. Most people don't have a lot, but treasure what they do have. The people are warm and friendly, just like the weather.
My wife's family is huge, so we have lots of celebrations, that's beach parties, barbecues, childrens parties etc. Many times we have casual parties, as when a jeepney load or two of family and friends decide to pay us a surprise visit.
Always something happening here, as you would expect, and the weather isn't usualy the subject of conversation. Too many other things to discuss.
Lots of things to see and do. Lovely beaches abound.
Philippines is Paradise itself. A paradise I visited many times, and never wanted to leave, so one day many years ago I decided to stay forever.

I have recently. Nebraska can be such a boring place, no offense intended. Even California or New York can get so blah sometimes. That's why I needed to come back to my homeland. You should find a way home to the Philippines someday.

Yes. Been here for 35 years.

It's a nice country with good people. But it just never progresses. Unemployment is high and the government is the most corrupt in the region.

Yes, from 1970 until 1980- then I left... visited for the first time in 1996. The last time I was there was in January of 2006.

Only once and then only for 10 days. Went to Boracay on holiday in 1991 (before the airport was built). Best holiday ever. Manila was grim and rather threatening but we loved Boracay and the people we met there.

So is there a problem or what? I've been living mostly in Cavite for the past 7 years. About 1/4 of that time spent in Taiwan or Europe.

Except for this time of the year (and I live on top of the mountain), I prefer cooler times like the rainy season or winter.
