I am from the mountainous region of the Philippines. The highest point in the philippines is near my town. Somewhere on top, it used to snow especially when the earth wasn't that polluted yet... That happened in the months of December to February
In the town where I live which is 5000 feet above sea level, the temperature is at least 8 or 9 degrees celsius in december to february so it's even colder in the highest point. These days, it's still cold on top but it doesn't snow anymore...
By the way, the mountain's name is Mt Pulog, about 9,613 feet above sea level... |

It snowed but only 2 accounts were made. One was around 1940's I think, I forgot about the other one's year. It normally doesn't snow in the Philippines, were very near the equator. But these two rare phenomena happened due to what they called "El Nino" and "La Nina" which cause some abnormalities with the weather (extremely hot and cold/rainy) |
|

yawmee

the philippines is near the equator so it'll be impossible to snow. |

The philippines is a tropical country, so we'll never have snow. Although sometimes we have ice (or hail), and that only happens on the mountains. We would like to wish that we can experience that phenomenon, though, we always see it on the media, but you can just imagine what'll happen to our nipa hut if it'll snow... |

I believe so but probably that was a long time ago, prehistoric times wherein they explained that we belong to one big archipelago " pangea theory " as they explained that some of the things we see on one island can be seen on the other island coz islands were connected by bridges made of ice so animals were able to travel but that was a theory only. |

Not in living memory but formations especially in Bohol suggest that once the philippines was covered in ice and snow thousands of years ago |

Never, and will never be. We really do hope there will be snow here because we only see them in films. Philippines is a tropical country and is very near the equator. The temperature is mostly hot and have hot and wet seasons only. |
