its' a beautiful island for sure.
but romantic? i think it depends more on with whom you'll going to visit this place right?
because anywhere you go can be romantic, as long as you go with the right person ;)

but there's a lot of beautiful places you can visit in this small island. if you love art craft, then you must give this place a chance. any kind of craftsmanship's you can find it here.

you can go to see the sunset in Tanah Lot or Kuta beach. or see the rice-field in Tabanan, for more details for the tourist sites in Bali maybe you can just check the web below

most of all, for me, Bali means serenity...

give it a try! :)

vania
yes i've been there,
i think so if you go there with your boyfriend

Ginny Wanderer
I think it depends on which resort you book urself into.

Some resorts have private beach, really nice service and surroundings. I believe it assist in creating a right mood

Unsilenced Lamb The Real One

i try to visit bali at least twice a year. The beaches give romantic touch to your holiday. My fave is uluwatu, jimbaran and ubud area

papars
Yes, its romantic, if you have the right companion. But the place is somewhat overcrowded with foreign tourists almost everywhere and prices are somewhat inflated as compared to the rest of Indonesia. Suggest you try Bukittinggi instead...which I fell in love with. Budget flights are available from Jakarta to Padang (Minangkabau airport) and onwards, you can travel by coach or taxi to Padang city and Bukittinggi.

Peach Blossom
I must say so. It's a very beautiful and exotic island. I never forget my trip there.

O Mi Gosh...

It's the best place i've ever seen.
The beaches are amaizing. I've seen Kuta beach, Sanur, Watu Ulo, but the best is Nusa Dua Beach. The water is really blue. God...

I think the best visit is to GWK or Garuda Wisnu Kencana.
Must be verry great to have a wedding there in the open air!!!
The giant rocks are amaizing, the grass are all green, the air was so breeze...
Get there at about 3 or 4 pm, u'll see 2 beaches at the same time - Kuta and Sanur if i'm not mistaken.

After spending about 2 hours in GWK, people usually go straight to Jimbaran for dinner. Very lovely over there to dine on the beach, hear the sea rush to shore. And because it will have been dark as u got there, the lights over the ocean will seem like thousands of candles in the dark.

Dont forget to go to Sukowati market to buy unique and cute merchandise like bag, statue, sarung, etc. Dont forget to bargain.

The games in Tanjung benoa are also very fun. Banana boat, snorkeling, gantole and many more.

Last but not least, dont forget to buy key chain with ur name written on it. That will be a memorable thing for u when u have been back at home. Also make some key chains with ur pals's name on it for them, sure they'll love it alot.
U can find the written name key chain at Watu ulo, Kuta, etc. But the best and the cheapest is at Watu ulo.
Gd luck

My Grain
Sorry but no,it's commercial and not so beautiful. Done a good few years travelling and Kuta is the most Vile place I've EVER been to.You're better off going to Sumatra or Flores!!

if u ever go there. u can't forget Bali island. is every exotic and romantic island.

Lotus Blossom
Romantic is a subjective term. I live in Bali, and I don't consider it romantic, but then again, I don't live at an exclusive resort. There are many places on this island that are amazing, and memorable. If you email me directly, and let me know what you consider romantic, I can direct you to the right places. For the most part, stay away from Kuta. Sanur is nice, Candidasa, Lovina dolphins, horse back riding on the beach, nearby islands, ceremonies, temples, & palm trees are all wonderful. Street peddlers are annoying. I came to Bali 4 years ago, and I never left if that tells you anything.

Depends on your company. It can be very romantic. As they would say there, 'Rasa sayang!'.

yes I have, there is romantic island but there is not the place U can do every thing as freedom and free sex. Bali have a culture that keep socialization, tolerance and religion.
