I first visited the Philippines almost a quarter of a century ago, and I fell in love with Cebu. I returned many times over the years, I met and fell in love with a Filipina, we married and lived in the UK, but holidaying here. I had early retirement and I now live in Cebu with my wife.
It is a beautiful country, and the Filipinos, are warm, friendly and hospitable, just like the climate here.
There are many places of outstanding beauty, Philippines has it all.
Come and visit the Philippines you know you want to.

i have been to Cebu times. its a resort town. its nice save and you'll have fun, better to go with a friend

Yes, Manila and Cebu Island. I had a wonderful time, ate delicious food (even though I didn't know half the time what it was), found service at hotels and restaurants far superior to that in the US, loved the sights, the history and the people. Cebu Island is surprisingly beautiful and I am surprised that not many people know about it. The only down side, a typhoon hit during our last day and we had to stay in the basement of the Hilton in Manila until it passed. It was one scary, frightening experience. The damage it did was astounding!

Apl.De.Al is from there. In the Black Eyed Peas concert I went to, he discussed his life with the audience. The place is interesting, but a typhoon is over there: Chancun I think its name is. I know everything about hurricanes. I'm getting off topic. I've nevber been to the Philippines, but I heard it's a very nice place to live.

i been there in the early 80's beautiful country. I got sick and met this Doctor who trained in the states in my home town. We all had lunch with his family it was very nice.

I have not been and that is because I have not had the money to spare yet. I hope to go one day. I have several friends there that I talk to online, with IM, and I would like to meet them some day.

I have been there six times in the past three years and will be heading back for number seven in August.
I love it there, especially the people. The infrastructure leaves a lot to be desired and it is much hotter and far more humid than what I am used to, but all in all, I love it and one day, God willing, I will live there. I just have to find the right place.

Yes I was actually born there. I don't remember much but it rained a lot. Ummm... and I really can't remember anything else cause I haven't been there since I was two.

yes of course i am afilipina i was born there but now i am here in barcelona spain.well my country is beutiful mostly people are very respectful and more friendly .i love philippines.many tourist attraction.

I was there Feb 16-March 12 for business. I was in the Makati district. We did not do to much as we were working at nights. While I was there, there were 3 cou(spelling) attempts and 1 minor earthquake. I found the people to be very friendly. Every time you came back to the hotel, they would ck your packages and purse for bombs. The same when u went into a shopping mall. I am going back for 6 weeks so I guess I liked it. Would have liked to have spent time at the beaches. I hear they are really nice
