did you? i think I did. being the first grandchild on both sides, my Tita & Titos told me on numerous occasions that they found me floating by the river after the floods. i used to cry when they tease me that I am not biologically related to them, unfortunately, as years pass, i look more like my beautiful mom =P |

My brother used to tell me that they just got me from a trashcan. But I never asked my parents or even doubted cause I look like my parents and my two brothers. My relatives tell me that I'm a spitting image of my great grandmother. |

not directly when i was about 12. b/c our maids were wondering why i was the only one having a high bridged nose.So, out of curiosity, i asked some "crazy" uncles that made me more confused.But about my teen age years, my aunts said i got the looks of our most handsome grandfather.
so if you could just see me now, you'll say i'm not bragging.
i got his enthusiasm in life(always have to ask a speaker to repeat their talks screaming), i'm also gaining face as my forehead is losing all the gray hair,osteoporosis ailed backbone as i need a horse to straighten my back, thick lens eyeglasses to read the FHM magazine. "can't smile without you" teeth, and best,the aroma of agricultural land emanating from my body.
See! I can't brag no more.Tried being humble really. |

Yes, I did. Everyone in my family looks similar but me. I'm the only one with my hair, eye and skin color. They swore I wasn't adopted.
I was hell bent that I was and asked family, friends, neighbors. Everyone has assured me that I wasn't adopted.
My Mom finally took out pictures from both sides and pointed out I had so & so's eyes, combination of various features melded together from both sides.

I am called the "carbon copy" of my mom. My brother and I never got along and that is through this very day. He was extremely mean to me my whole life and he used to tell me that I was adopted. My mom favored him and my dad favored me. I was always compared to that perfect brother and probably worked hard to be radically different. He is the iceman and I am the sun. He is too cold for me to possibly be from the same blood line. I used to always ask my mom if she was sure I wasn't adopted. I would still ask her, if she were alive today. |

Yes I do wonder about that sometimes, but I can't, since i'm the spitting image of my mom. Everywhere I go, they know i'm her kid. However, my outlook on everything is totally different from my mom and dad. |

No, because I'm practically a carbon copy of my mom. We have the same straight hair, same skin, I got everything except her eyes. I got mine from my dad. :D Besides, they have *too* many pictures of me as a baby - with a couple of them showing me still wet from my mom's birth fluids - that I never even bothered to consider it. ^_^ |

When my mom and I used to watch the Maury show years ago, we kept seeing these shows involving those who had been adopted. I kept asking her if I was adopted, and of course she told me I wasn't.
The people who kept telling me that I looked like Daddy AND Mommy prevented me from believing that I was adopted, I can tell you that much! |
