Yes, I ate it before and I ever cooked and sold it during Canteen Day in my school. I sold it for RM 2.00 but at 'night market' near my house it is being sold for RM 2.50 each.
The ice cream is been put inside a puff. After being cooked, the puff will become crisp and the ice cream inside will melt if you cook it for a long while. So it suppose to be cooked just for a while in order to maintain the condition of the freezing ice cream. The tastes of the ice cream is common, just like the cone ice cream and it has varies flavour such as chocolate, strawberry, yam, durian and many more! |

Yes, I had it in a mamak shop in Rawang about 2 years ago and it was only a few ringgit, definitely less than RM4.
I like the warm and cold combination. I haven't seen it sold in PJ mamak stalls, though. |

Pernah. In malaysia, fried ice cream originated from Terengganu. Fried ice cream adalah ice cream yang disalut dengan tepung yang digoreng. Like udang celup tepung but fried ice cream berbentuk bulat. Rasa macam ice cream biasa je cuma ice cream jadi macam inti kuih. To me, tak delah special sangat fried ice cream. The cost, normally mahal sikit daripada ice cream biasa. |

its great
its not very expensive like maybe $2.00 US
It tastes different depending on how it is prepared.
its very hard to explain,
you should be able to find it at any good MEXICAN resturaunt.
You get a plate with a Flour tortilla fried into the shape of a bowl (like for a taco salad if you know what that is) then they place a large scoop of usually vanilla icecream in the center and they coat it with something that hardens and also sprinkle cornflake crumbs and sometimes a little coconut shavings on it, then on top of that goes whipped cream and a cherry.
very tasty! |

There's a lunch truck that parks across from where I work that charges $3 for it. It's got something like doughnut batter on the outside, and it fries up a little bit crunchy. It's really delicious, but no good for losing weight! |

Yes Ihave. I had it like 2 days ago at Cameron Highlands. at the Strawberry Farm next to the CactusValley. (Since thi sis in Malaysia, I'm assuming you're looking for it in Malaysia) And as there aren't that many Mexican restaurants in Malaysia, I think the other answers will be pretty useless. It was like 6RM. It tastes sort of like puff pastry dough or cream puff dough with an ice cream filling. It was pretty good. |

Yes, I bought once at pasar malam Desa Pandan at RM2. Unique taste just like the name (I laughed the 1st time I heard the name ais krim goreng...heheh). Hot fried bread outside and cold ice cream inside. But people said the best is those in Terengganu. |

Yes definitely....cold inside and hot outside. I first tasted it in Batu Burok, Terengganu 15 years ago and cost 2rm.

Yes....they often serve it in Mexican restaurants here in the states. They roll a brick of ice cream in a batter....not sure how they make it...and then quickly fry it. It is delicious...here costs about $2.50. |

Yes, I tried in at the mamak stall, very nice, like what wasabee's said. It cost around RM3 - RM4. There's also another type of ice creams, they used to call it snow ice, but now they changed the name to ice kimo. It's really really nice, especially the chocolate flavour with extra chocolate syrup. Yummy! You can get it at Daily Fresh Foods for RM3.90 |
