Yes, several times when I was there and I am sure it is a continuing, common habit. A despicable and inconsiderate one that should be penalised. Enforcement is difficult so your "tank-sqashing-cars" option should be seriously considered... after informing all occupants in the car to come out of course... LOL
It is the lack of civic consciousness and education; both, at home and in schools that are to blame. Education and enforcement by the authorities are also questionable - there is very little effort in educating the public, nor is there effective enforcement - both are half-hearted, stop-start programme. |

Once I threw out a Red Bull glass bottle at this car who drove beside me near enough to cause panic. At first he flirted with me on the road and then he grew aggressive by harassing me.
From panic to angry, I decided to give his Honda a good dent by throwing the bottle. He stopped by the roadside to check on his precious car and I sped off.
Do I feel guilty? Not at all! As far as I'm concern, he's the rubbish that should be thrown out! |

I had. I'm driving with my frens to Sri Aman, Sarawak from Kuching. This van in front of me keep on throwing rubbish along the journey, my fren get so fed up and honk.
We stop at 1 place to buy some durians to get rid of them. Happen to be, we stumbled into the van again as we re-starts our journey.
You know what we did? Payb back TIME!
Peel all the durian, treasure the sweet taste of em, and throw it out to the van behind us.....
This happen when we 'climb' the Bukit Begunan (very2 long stretch)......... Oh what a pleasure.........
Vengeance is.......
hahahhaa........ |

Ah, Anderson just gave the answer that I had in mind.
Whilst driving back from Bau near Kuching (Yes the town's called Bau) the family in the car in front of us were eating rambutan and winding down the window to throw out the skins. They didn't seem to care about anybody behind them and the danger they was causing.
Why like that? hummm, that's another question. |

Sometimes usually it's cigarette butts or candy wrappers.
There were a few times, where some traffic officers caught the act. Then... I suspect some "bribes" happened. The police officers LOVE to catch these kind of polluters.
Even in LRT, some people just leave their packets of don't know what behind on the seats. Is it so difficult to keep it till the stops.
The level of ignorance of people still amazes me.
Sometimes I wondered what's the purposes of those signboards stating the warning " Don't Litter! Didenda RMXXX etc. etc. dikenakan" but underneath the signs are full of rubbish XD. |

I definitely have experience that. However, it was not in Malaysia, but in the US. The Americans will throw trash right out of their cars. I had a dirty diaper that landed on my windshield one time on my way to work. I have Americans spitting out of their car window and splat right on my car.
Only in the US.... never experience that in Malaysia. |
