actually i lived here in the philippines...

and there's really a lot of beautiful places and vacation spots around the country. Boracay beach, Puerto Princesa, Pagsanjan Falls, Taal Volcano, Mayon Volcano - the perfect cone( but i believe not now due to its usual erruption ), Baguio City is one of the cool place here in the philippines...

ghost hunting go to Corigidor Island and see the Japanese ghost

if you want to see the mark of spanish invasion you go to Ilocos Sur - Vigan and many more.

But on top of that is the Filipino people... they're great and so kind to all tourist

yes, i went last march, amazing weather, amazingly cheap, sidic is a great place to vist, stay away from manilla, dangerous and dirty

I'm in the Philippines right now. I've been here almost all my life. There are plenty of nice places to see here and is definitely an ideal spot for a vacation.

I have been to the Philippines several times. The country is very diverse and depending where you go it can be very beautiful. There are many beautiful places for vacation. One thing to keep in mind is the poorer standard of living there. There are places where crime against tourists is more prevalent so be careful. There are also pockets of religious extremists on some of the islands. Do your research and enjoy your trip! As with all travel overseas be careful and have fun seeing a new culture and meeting the people.

hey i think its a good place to visit...
if you want to be in a major city you go to metro manila
if you like good beaches with medium type city you could visit Cebu..most tourist in the country visit cebu

Yes, the philipines are wonderful, if you go off the beaten track, ie where no tourists go, then you will find possibly the most amazing country in the world.

i've never been, but i have tagalog books w/ pictures of the different islands, and its beautiful!!! some beautiful places are Manila Bay [at sunset], Rizal Park, Manila Catedral, Fort Santiago, San Sebastian Church, Santo Tomas University, Nayong Pilipino, Las Pinas church's Bamboo Organ, Laguna Coconut Farm, Tagaytay, Taal Lake,Corregidor, Hundred Islands [its actually 400] Baguio, Manila, Baguio Cathedral, Wright Park, and Alona Beach.

yep. it's definitely a beautiful place for vacation. im not saying this because i live in the philippines but there really are great places here.

there are lots of beautiful white sand beaches around but i would recommend boracay. it has been named the best beach in asia.

if you watched amazing race (i forgot what season), there was a challenge at palawan. at el nido. it is as beautiful as boracay but less people.

and if you're a nature lover, you will definitely love it here because of the wide diversity of species.
