Yes, at long last!

I was 56kg @ 161cm in December last year. Now I'm 48kg and have maintained this weight for the past 4 months.

I bought lots of exercise videos; dance workouts, yoga, hiphop, toning, belly dancing, handweight toning exercise. My favourite's Pump it Up Beach dance workout. I exercised at least 5 times a week for about an hour each time. Nowadays, I cut down to 2-3 times and I swim once a week.

I watched my food intake, especially cutting down on fattening fried stuff, sugar and carbohydrates at night. Skipped suppers and snacks. I snacked on fruits instead. Don't miss breakfast though, cuz if you do, your metabolic rate will slow down. Drink lots of water to flush out the toxins. And sleep early to allow your body to repair itself.

And moving house, getting mugged, both just a week before Chinese New Year help!! They gave me stress & I lost appetite!

In the past, I'd also tried Marie France, Mayfair, etc (5 different slimming centres). Although I lost weight, but it didn't stay off because I didn't exercise or watch my diet.

yes, tried few method like jogging, diet, pills,
but none works.

Until I found Putra LRT stairs.

I was weighing 55kg with 153cm in height.
Looks like 'Ewok', and my hubby (was fiance back then),
always addressed me as 'Anak Gajah'.

Then, when I got a job in Citibank Jalan Ampang,
I decided to use stairs instead of elevator.

3 stations with hundreds stairs up and down,
starting from
Star LRT Desa Petaling>>Masjid Jamek Putra LRT>>Jln Ampang LRT and the other way round.

In two months, I got my tight a.s.s,
firm legs and 42kg in weight.

And it was 6 years ago,
Still maintaining the weight regardless how much I eat.
No worries about Moist Chocolate Cake calories.

I guess all the unnecessary fat is total gone.

Yes and no. I lost about 20 lbs, since last December.. and have put back about.. 15 lbs.. since last March.. :-(

It's tough.. my advice for you is to do strength training for your arms and legs. I could go on and on about which exercise you could do, but the internet would provide detailed information. Youtube is even better, you'd get to see how its done.

For arms, I think Dips are good and for your legs, you should do squats. Its painful in the beginning, but it builds up your muscles(not too much of squats, or you would be she-hulk) hahaha... unless you wanna be she-hulk...

I do yoga too, and if you do it religiously, you will help tone up your muscles.. AND, youd be like extra flexible.. think of the possibilites! Also.. running, swimming or cycling is really good too, if you love doing any one of these, please do, whenever you're free..

Also, control what you eat sista, you need to eat 3 small meals and at least 2 'snacks' a day.
By 'snacks', I mean fruits and nuts.. NOT chocolate and candy :'(
The most important is carbohydrates and protein and for fats, keep it as low as possible. Always read labels behind the packaging to know which is good and bad.

And please dont go on crash diets, its unhealthy, and if you lose your weight super fast without any resistance training, you will end up with a whole lot of saggy skin, you dont want that, do you?

Btw, if you ever find yourself going to the kitchen to get something really bad to eat, think of your goals. Take a picture of your arms and legs and look at it each time you're going for that chocolate fudge cake. It might help you say "TAK NAK"..

Thats just my dua cents worth, hope you get to lose those fats. Good luck!

Edit : Sweetie, I would suggest against weight losing pills and stuff because it could have a bad effect on your body. Total Life for example, I know someone who used it and remember the saggy skin I was talking about? Yep, he has it.. the Total Life product made him lose weight SO fast he is left with heaps of saggy skin under his arms and thighs.. they are move like waves when he walks!

yes i did..
by cutting down my snacks and exercising more..
but i alwas end up being hungry and super not consistent in my exercising schedule...
result : unsuccesful..

i wanna divorce the fats on my hips and thigh too...
i guess i have to resort to marie france bodyline slimming soon...

yes i did manage to loose some weight. eat less rice and meat. especially try not eat too much @ night.

Yes I did... And it was successful... Just skip my food. Eat once a day - a lil amount of rice(abt 2 spoons of it) and maybe 2 pcs of sandwich bread with tea or smth... No supper.. But you have to be consistent. Discipline is important... Do a lot of work which can make u sweat very much... I've lost abt 20kg in a year last year without paying a lot of money for marie france or smth like that. I didn't take any slimming product also...

i did by going into martial arts, and decreasing my food intake (that's not intentional, i just ran out of money).

Lets just say after 3+ months i got so skinny i could fit into a children's tshirt.

if you could run 6 KM within 45 minute 5 times a week i guarantee you you will lose 10 KG within 2 months swimming is more towards building your stamina

i used to be a chubby kid, i mean really chubby with round cheeks and a spare tyre on my tummy.
my mum signed me up in contemporary dancing and ballet classes.i slowly started to lose weight.
the reality is,i hate ballet.i often got mocked for being the chubbiest girl there.

i guess the turning point was when i started being active in cheerleading.of course i didnt start out as a flyer,but the dance routine and stunts really burnt my calories. and fats.
especially when it came to competitions.i dont mean football competition,instead national cheerleading competition.
we really worked our a.s.s off practicing everyday til the wee hours.mostly until we got kicked out by school security guard from the gym hall.

in total,i lost 12kg.i guess its totally worth it when men turn their heads to take a double look at me.

i play sports with my friends (sofbol/softball) then we play almost 3 days per week i lost 10 kilos but then they grad first then i gain 9 kg (no friend to play sport :( ),

i start jogs in this month, 3 times one week, already drop 3kg in 3 weeks so..... i will keep jogging until drop more then 9 because i look really hideous ...... so yes lets try it together :) and divorce with our fats

many times. i was always successful when i was focused and had the right discipline and self-control. when i was still single, i also resorted to pills - i wonder why we women always want to look reed-thin.:(

these times when i want to lose some weight, i just cut back on calorie-laden food, especially soda. Coke (the softdrink of course :]) is a very big culprit. reduce rice intake too.

if u only want to divorce with some arms and legs fat, why not resort to liposuction? Rather costly, but people swear on its effectiveness.

I tried to eat less and it work but now after 3 years I'm overweight again...because of the increase of meat in my diet...Tried to to do the same but so far only some fat went away. I guess I can't skip on those exercises forever...

QUINTON, Va. (AP) - A Virginia man lost about 80 pounds in six months by eating nearly every meal at McDonald's. Not Big Macs, french fries and chocolate shakes. Mostly salads, wraps and apple dippers without the caramel sauce.

Chris Coleson tipped the scales at 278 pounds in December. The 5-foot-8 Coleson now weighs 199 pounds and his waist size has dropped from 50 to 36.

The 42-year-old businessman from Quinton says he chose McDonald's because it's convenient.

His inspiration came from his two children and from the story of a blind war veteran who rode a tandem bicycle cross-country.

Coleson says his goal is to get back to the 185 pounds he weighed when he married Tricia Summer. Their 10th anniversary is Saturday.

i was 61kg, 3 1/2 months ago. now 54kg. (oops, my secret is out!). well, i just dont care how long my body takes to lose weights as long as i lose weights! and i've been doing it without even sweating my butt out. coz i dont have time to exercise, not because i dont want to.

so i what i've been doing is...i cut down dinner. its ok to have your meal before 6pm but highly not recommended after that. late-night meals are evil, very very evil. meals give you energy but whats the energy for at 10 pm, right? i used to have probably about 800 or more callories, per dinner. but since i cut down dinner, i have managed to throw away that unwanted 800 callories. and stop on fats build-up, while im sleeping.

minimise the intake of oily, fat-rich and fried stuff. i used to eat pizza every weekend. its my fav food, still. but now only once a month. now, since i eat less, i've realized that when i eat bigger portion than usual, my tummy gets really full. i feel like throwing up. this means my tummy has shrinking. and i dont have the same appetite as i used to anymore. example, i could finish 2 slices of large pizza before. but now, even 1 large slice, i feel so full.

please drink enough water. 6-8 glasses a day. adequate water intake, increases your fat metabolism, which is a good thing.

Yeah, I drank a lot of plain water (about 8 glasses a day) cuz it helps me reduce food cravings and I also cycle at least 1 hour everyday.

You're a swimmer huh? If you wanna lose some fats on your thighs, you could try walking in the water. Good luck! :D

I did once. When I was study at College, do Tae Kwon Doe for two hours per day. Lost 20 kg in three months. In the mean time I also eat less, that time I was in my 20's. Much easy for me to lost weight.
