Been there from Penang to Koala Lumpur. Malacca, Terengganu, Kelantan, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu - love the durians, Indian rojak, nasi lemak, nasi kandar - all great food, enjoyable times except 1 MEGA PROBLEM - WORST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD TO TAKE TAXIS!! |

What you mean 'been to Malaysia' ... I am born in Malaysia ...
If you mean to the whole Malaysia, nope cuz of the transportation and area ... take Sabah for example ... I only been to Kota Kinabalu, Ranau, Tawau, Tenom, Tambunan and Kudat but I cannot claimed I been to the the whole Sabah ... many more areas like Sepilok ... and not to mention Ginduras farm ... lol
If only 'touch and go', then my list will be ... Selangor, Melacca, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Penang, Sarawak and Sabah ... |

Was born here . Its pretty good but the living costs have gone up a bit . If you come here visit Cameron Highlands for a cool colonial atmosphere and go to Penang for sun sea and excellent hawker food .
The country has three main races Malays Chinese and Indian so you expect a diverse culture & food all over the country

First time visitors should definitely visit Penang (drive there its way better than taking plane). Penang is very different from the rest, its just so quiet and slow...not even Pangkok Island can match. But if you like busy busy then you go to KL and shop your head off Megamall and Suria KLCC is great place. Langkawi is good if you like beaches |
