yes. at first i thought it was an airplane. my friends insisted that we make a wish since we've got nothing to loose. so we did. believe it or not my wish and my friend's wish did came true- the next day. i know it's just a rock and maybe it was just a coincidence but who cares right? our wish did came true. =) |

I was by a lake and had just finished watching a comet at sunset and I looked straight up until all I could see was the sky and a shooting star zoomed across above me. It was truly amazing! |

Awesome! I saw one when I was 12. I also randomly saw the International Space Station fly across the sky as well. THAT was AMAZING. It went so fast. |

shooting stars, meteor showers, comets, eclipses, planetary conjunctions, satellites. morning star, seen it often, but what i can't held is being mesmerize by the firecrackers that blows in different colors at night, the clumps of fireflies in the woods, and even dim christmas lights. |

Yes, if I'm lucky enough every other night. I love to observe the night sky. So during a meteor shower, go out at mid nights just to watch the greatest cellestial show of all....
How I feel??? I feel how great God is.... truly amazed by His works. |

yeah.
Whenever I'm home, I go outside...
Lie on my favorite hammock and watch the sky waiting for shooting stars.
They often appear between 1am to 2 am. |

not only a shooting star... but meteor showers...
when I was still a kid in the Philippines, about midnight, we watched, together with my uncle, auntie, and cousins, the meteor showers that was expected that night... it was so beautiful... I said to myself that I can't wish that much because there are too many shooting stars that are falling from the sky.. |

Yes, I've seen several, just happened to look at the sky at the right moment, their amazing when you think they are a dying planet or part of one and you wonder where it landed. Keep your eyes to the sky. |

shooting stars are actually just small meteorites or other items entering into the earths atmosphere and burning up across the sky. If you spend any amount of time outside at night you see them regularly |

I have seen a few shooting stars. The best one was over the summer, I was sitting outside in the hot tub and looking up at the stars and all of a sudden I saw one just zoom across the sky. I actually got chills. To me they just seem magical. And just so you know, I made a wish upon it and it came true this December. Maybe thats why I got the chills. |

A couple of times but not lately. The initial reaction upon seeing one is of surprise...then remembering about shooting stars and wishes coming true, you quickly make a wish and hope it does come true. |

Yes I do and I don't like it....
shooting star shows up in the sky so wonderful,
so bright...
they make you fascinated with what you see,
with their colors
they let you loose from your thoughts forawhile...
they even leave you the hopes to believe that your wishes
will sooner or later might come true.
But...
they just shown in very few second,
let you realize that they can't last up there...
no forever...
beauty they brought fades easily...
and the moment you open your eyes again....
the shooting star is gone! |

Heaps! That's the beauty of living in the country... No smog, just wide open spaces & clear skies & I make a wish everytime I see one! |

I don't live in the metro with all the bright lights and buildings blocking the view so I see falling stars quite often. they're very pretty. Most of the time, because they come and go so fast, you'd even forget to make a wish (they tell us to do it but I'm still not sure if wishes made on falling stars come true). Sometimes, you'd kinda feel special, in a way, 'cause after being entranced at the sight of a falling star, when you look around- you're the only one who saw it, and that makes the whole experience intimate, only you and that falling star.
