Why compare? Think of the bond between Singaporean & Malaysian, they are so closely related. A lot of Singaporean have friends & relative at Malaysia and vice versa. Thus, not matter how much different, the bond will always bring these two countries together. |

hehe haha

It depends on what you wish to compare as although we are similar in culture, many things are different.
Employment opportunities - Singapore is better for professionals and have more regional based companies HQ there than KL. Singapore pays better wages
Cost of Living - Although income is comparatively high, the cost of living is high too. With the high Sg income it is still difficult to buy your own property. Car prices are the highest in the world. If you love cars, Malaysia is more affordable.
Politics - Sg has no official discrimination on anyone.
Food - The kiasu's lose out big time on this one. Food is much better in Malaysia.
Holidays - the problem with Sg is that you can't walk more than 20 mins in one direction before you fall into the sea. Malaysia wins on this one.
Sports - Malaysia is good at some sports like badminton but Singaporeans are all born with 2 left feet. Maybe it is the New Water (recycled pee) that they drink. |

Basically, they are all the same. All South East Asians anyway. One glaring difference is that Singapore is ruled by obnoxious pretentious Chinese and Malaysia is ruled by laid-back Malays. |

both have their pros and cons.
in singapore everything is man made, in malaysia, u could still find natural wonders.
in singapore u can buy hdb flats subject to your eligibility, in malaysia as long as u have money to pay, u can buy free hold landed properties all u want.
transportation system is superb in singapore, in malaysia this is improving.
singapore need to reclaim land to make singapore bigger in the world map, malaysia is already big, it is selling sands to singapore to enable them reclaiming land.
singapore relies on foreign professionals workforce and labour, malaysia relies on foreign labour.
singapore is a 'fine' country, so were malaysia.
singaporeans are kiasu must haves bunch, malaysians are laid back.
singaporeans think that malaysians are jealous of them but this is not the case a slightest bit. In fact, i knew many singaporeans who wishes to start a new life in malaysia because living in singapore was too stressful, it demands all your effort just to survive a basic living.
if i may add: singapore buys foreign players by giving them citizenship to instantly put singapore in the world ranking sport status. malaysia uses foreign coach to coach the local players, no matter if the local players cant perform, this is to prove malaysia boleh status.
edit:
i love both. and no i dont think we will ever be at war with each other. :) |

malaysia is a country with identity.
they retain their culture n will never let other countries no matter how strong or big or influential those countries might be.
malaysians are polite n never let ego get over their heads unlike the singaporeans.
owh n malaysians drink clean, unpolluted water n not recycled urine..
n who r we to judge either countries politics, itz their country, no matter whether justice iz prevailed or not or whether their ministers r highly educated or not,,iz not for us to judge.

try to compare the leaders in S'pore and M'sia and the way they debate in parliament.
S'pore minister all graduated with high qualification and some even double degrees holder. While M'sia minister only know how to attack women in parliament by saying women 'gatal' and seduce men to rape them, or, women 'leaking' every month when other people talking about the leaking problem in parliament building!!! Cheap and sick!!! |

You really cant find creative zen here in malaysia whilst in singapore, they're selling it like cupcakes. Singapore also hosts all of those stuff you cant find in malaysia like porn magazines and cuban cigars. But however, in singapore, you'll be dead if you throw out a single rubbish on the side of the street and not to mention their stupid food which will always be stupid (taste like crap and mostly non halal). SIngapore in no other but a slave to big cuntries like America and uk, Making them quite similiar to that jew cuntry, ISRAEL. |

Why do you want to compare? Jealousness of its success by malaysia resulted in many problems to Singapore. |
