you know what that say, an idle mind is the devil's workshop. be busy with other economically, spiritually or mentally productive things.

you can also think about non-sexual disgusting things, that will stop your lust. honest. for example, think about how gross it is to clean your septic tank.

getting myself busy in lots of good ways... such as, doing all my homework, recreational activities, working hard, community service, exercise, eat, shop, visit friends and family, go to church, discover new stuffs, rest, travel, etc...

don't mind them, focus your attention to something else...

Anything is possible if you decide to stick to your morals and convictions. Just don't be alone with him and avoid the thought of it because the next thing you know you are already swayed by your feelings.

Just trust in God, ask help through your humble prayers and He will help you through it. Just remember that even if you do give in, which I hope you don't, God is a forgiving God and to everyone that sinned, and as long as you trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, you will be forgiven.

Another suggestion:

Put your hands and mind to work with a hobby , craft or sports. The problem with us these days, is that we have too much time to be idle. If you read Proverbs you'll see that idleness is an open door to sin. Another thing. Self control is something that must be practiced in order to strengthen it. The more you use self-control, the easier it gets. Just like body-building at the gym.

Technically, if you feel lust for different guys & you're a girl, it's normal. But, if you're the other gender & you feel lust for the same gender, it's something psychological.

You can't control lust, though. As a human being, we are bounded to earthly norms, which includes there lusting over the opposite gender. This is seen in some animals; even female animals have more than one mates, because male animals feel lust on the opposite gendered animal.

I hate to be the one to bring you the news, but you may be afflicted with nymphomania, an "abnormally excessive and uncontrollable sexual desire in women", in which case you might want to seek professional help. As I heard, the condition is not uncommon and probably it is curable. Good luck!

Lust is destructive.

It is human nature that we have earthly desires towards the opposite sex. But that desire must remain inside our bodies, when lust consumes you, it will destroy you. Lust is a little fire that can burn forests.

I have few questions:

Is your lust uncontrollable? Does it seek actual sex all the time? Do you engage sex to multiple partners?

Is your lust ruining your mindset, your dignity as a person?

Is your lust defining who you are that you cannot perform your other tasks or duties because lust and having sex is in your mind/

Lust is dangerous when you act on it. IT WILL ALL DEPEND ON YOUR WILL TO FIGHT IT.

You can however:

1.) Pray. Read religious materials how to beat lust. Ask God to help you.

2.) Devote your time to hobbies alone. Like, (answering here..hehe), You can blog. You can do other stuff to kill and divert your energies to something else.

3.) Be in company with female friends or your family. Share wholesome talk and day-out with them.

4.) Avoid going to places which will trigger your desire. Like bars, night parties, and other similar places. Mall quickly and don't go out if uneccessary.

5.) Ask a friend to be your accountable partner. This person must be a female, who will not judge you and who shall be your "fiscalizer". Stick to your plan.
