Vary, definitely not sloppily & shabbily. I always take the trouble to not look like a typical housewife (don't want to embarrass hubby & kids!)
If to market, or send kids to school, zippered shorts or denim skirts with polos or T-shirts. Sunblock, concealer, powder, blush, gloss. Slippers (not the Jepun variety!) or flat sandals.
To the mall and other places, ranges from skinny jeans, tank tops, shirts, blouses, dresses with light makeup. Shoes: Heeled sandals, usually.
Decent...more clean than decent *blush* underwear at all times!
Never would I go out anywhere in clothes that I wear when lounging at home (read: old shorts and faded T's). |

In clothes. Apparently nudity whilst shopping causes something of a disturbance. Not to mention I live in Blighty. It's winter, we call it Blighty for a reason. |

I mostly do my shopping (groceries) late at night, or very early in the morning so as not to wait in line for hours to check out...plus the shelves are always more stocked than if I go during the day..first pick of everything is nice. When I do this, I'm usually wearing a tank top, hoodie and my favorite track pants lol. I could honestly care less what I look like at that time of day/night (mostly because, besides the store workers, the other people there are usually dressed the same way.)
If I'm doing NON food shopping, during the day..I'll just dress casually..just not AS casual as *above* lol. |

I guess it depends on my mood, but I usually try to look decent. I wouldn't want it to be my lucky day to bump into a celebrity or boss or someone. If it is after mid night, you might see me in my slippers though. |

Comfortable but cute your shopping to buy stuff. But during the holidays there are alot of people out you dont want to look bad. You can look comfortable and cute. You will be holding alot of stuff most likely and wear something like jeans and a cute top and a jackets (it will be chilly) and carry a small-medium purse so you dont have to scramble around looking for stuff organize it first. I Love shopping. Good Luck : ] |

I think its ridiculous to wear jammies out on town (and lots of girls do it !!!) but I try to NOT wear layers and shoes that are easy to slide off and on, especially if you are going clothes shopping for yourself and will need to try on a lot of stuff. Nothing like dragging a coat, a sweashirtt, a tshirt and whatever else over your head just to try on ashirtrt in a store!!!
You what's really cute? Those UGG boots (or any boots really), skinny jeans, and any shirt that hugs the body and flatters your figure. And so easy to take off!! |

Well, I think it depends. I believe that if you are going out shopping at a mall then you would maybe wear some cute jeans and dress it up with a somewhat dressy shirt. If you are going shopping at a grocery store then I would wear whatever you would wear to school. If you are going shopping for guys, then I would definitely wear something to empress them with, something like a little cleavage in a shirt with pants, a dress, or even a short skirt with a not so skimpy shirt. You know even it out a bit, more on top less on bottom and the opposite of that. |

obviously, you aren't from the US. i don't have a "house dress". depending on the weather, i'll wear sweats or jeans.
i don't dress up. i'm not out to impress anyone. if i have money to shop, i don't care what they think of me. |
