agree! music is one of the best therapy. and just to temporarily escape from reality, we would go camping or simply go for a long walk ... for me and my husband, nature tripping is our favourite thing to do(in addition to listening/playing music) when we want to recharge, relax & "escape" the rigors of reality.

escaping from reality is a round trip ticket. You might leave for a period of time but You always come back to the same place you left from...thiat is unless you only want a one way, in that case you die.....best to just deal with it

No one can really escape reality. They can hide from it but can never escape from it. There are many ways on how one can hide from what is factuality and one of which is what you said...through music. Another way is to daydream, to fantasize, to make pretend that everything in one's life is perfect. Another way is to immerse oneself in a satisfying hobby or craft.
