How do you get rid of someone irritating ?

1) Avoid them and be 'super busy' all the time.
2) Do things you know they don't like to do.
3) Have opinions that are the opposite of theirs.
4) Ignore them.
5) Tell them why they are annoying and see if they will stop. If it's just a general type of annoyance then there isn't much you can do here. If the list is too long, don't bother telling them. You can't change people.
6) Tell them point blank "Nothing personal but we just don't get along. Please don't talk to me anymore."

This should do it. If you don't care about the person's feelings then you shouldn't care how you get rid of their annoying a$$! If you do care and you have a clingy crybaby on your hands this becomes more difficult. Try not to be mean, unless the person really deserves it. Also, ask yourself: Why is this person annoying to you? Do they remind you of someone you disliked? Do they remind you of yourself? Is it a looks or status issue, i.e. the person isn't popular, dresses funny, etc? Or are they just genuinely an undesirable, nasty or cruel person? Is the person a true threat to you or are they just a pest? Will losing/hurting the person damage other relationships? Did the person do something wrong to you or someone you know? These are all important things to ask.

It's not easy cutting someone loose but sometimes we have to. It could be the person is not a nice individual or it could be a case of an otherwise nice person just being a pain. Either way, try to avoid hurt feelings. There is no reason to make yourself look like a bully if you don't have to. Good luck! May you make a wise choice with this one!
