How do you handle someone who is "pikon"?

"Pikon" - the closest translation I could think of is "unsportsmanlike"....but really I meant someone who would not accept mistakes graciously....one who would fight to death just to have the last word.....you know the kind...LOL

Let the issue rest for the meantime. Then, when the person has cooled down, reason out again and compromise. If that doesn't work, let the issue die a natural death. And, depending on the relationship you have with the person, you can either accept his/her "pikonness" or just ignore him/her completely.

Don't waste your time. Walk away and let them cool off and then try again.

don't bother. Ika nga nila "ang PIKON ay laging talo".

I simply let him cool off. When the person seems to have a clearer head, then I talk him/her.

Pointless to make"sugod" pag pikon the person.

it depends...if you like them well enough, then you can just play along.....but if you don't like them in the first place, then just avoid talking with them

I usually cease communication with the "pikon" person. I hate speaking to people who are full of themselves despite their flaws.

well, it has often been said that "the opposite of love is not hate but indifference," i just let them be and ignore them.

Probe for the weak points and once discovered, exploit them. Needle the person more, until he squirms in agony and you break his spirit, and he is yours for the taking. Show no mercy. This technique has proven to be quite effective.

Unfortunately it has been used repeatedly against me, not the other way around. Hmmph!

Laugh and say in a cocky way " sure mate what ever you say". It will eat them up inside even more. You can't win but you can sure piss them off.

Felicity???
Show your brightest smile, leave that someone (don't waste your time) and move on. You gotta show them how to be not a "pikon" coz it's obviously your words don't mean a thing that time. They are still fusing with anger for sure so give them time to contemplate and maybe they will apologize to you as soon as they realize their mistake. <*-*>
