A swordsman is "eskrimador," or taong bihasa sa pag-gamit ng espada.

A "panday" is a swordsmith/blacksmith.

panday means blacksmith... FPJ just happened to forge swords. i think that kabalyero would imply that a guy wielding a sword is riding a horse.
