Xie Xie Nie is Mandarin for Thank You

Regional dialects affect pronunciation.

In Beijing the people say it like:
Share Share Knee

In Shanghai the people say it like:
SChay SChay nee

Elsewhere people usually say it like:
SHAY SHAY KNEE

Putonghua is the spoken language, however, regional dialects and pronunciations can make even a simple phrase such as Xie Xie Nie sound very different, even in the same province or city.

All aboves are right. Since you've learned "Thank you." I think you'd like to learn "You're welcome",too. it is "Bu Ke Qi."
