They're good people, their government is okay, except for the time it invaded and enslaved my country.
TWICE! |

Having been to Japan, I think of the Japanese as a very interesting and successful nation. Japanese wisdom, intelligence and spirituality are enviable, and I'd like to spend more time there. |

The culture is much less interesting and the women not as attractive as Thai or Chinese... |

It's groovy.
They're a collective culture; it's still true that "the nail that sticks out will be hammered down". That focus on the group (rather than the individual) still exists. But they're not robots, or The Borg. Creativity, style, and sense of humor are abundant in Japanese society ^_^.
In general, I've noticed that the Japanese are really kind and thoughtful. In college, we threw a couple of big parties and my house got trashed. The next morning, three Japanese girls came back to help us clean everything up.
And when you get sick, it's been my experience that a Japanese friend will help you. Another American might let you die LOL.
In my experience, Japanese people have been great to go camping with. They seem to be natural experts at making lots of stuff neatly fit in the trunk of a car or small backpack. I think that's because they are committed to complete tasks the correct way. They'd rather something right than do it twice.
So yeah. Much love for Japan and the Japanese.
The haters can go suck a cactus. |

Getting worse day by day.
Over 32000 people committed suicide last year.
11 years consecutively.
Jobless and homeless people are also increasing day by day.
When are they getting over these serious crisis? |

I'm below your country (quite a turn in the East). I don't know what am I doing in the Japan category. lol (laughing out loud )
But anyway, I find Japanese people very polite and kind. They always bow and have very clean houses. I have one Japanese friend, and he stayed up late just to talk to me. It was very kind and sweet of him to comfort me in my times of sorrow. I was surprised because another Japanese friend of mine is like that too. They are very friendly.
The country, Japan, is very interesting. Especially that Japanese people colonized our country. Anyway, I love how pretty Sapporo in the pictures my friend sent me. A very rich country, Indeed.
But of course, everyone is different and that means not all Japanese are the same in behavior. |

CHILD LABOR IN JAPAN! HAHAHAHAHAH YOUR AN IDIOT! NO REALLY, YOU TRULY ARE!
Japan is a robot society. I was there for 1 year teaching english. I did love the culture and how everyone fit into a certain category. But, after awhile it was kind of pathetic.
1. If you work for an office building your a Salary Man. They all dress the same. Black suits, ties and black shoes.
2. If you listen to hiphop or down with the hiphop scene you HAVE to wear a NY fitted hat... which reminds me of a bunch wanna be 50cents running around.
3. Shibuya has these kids called Shibuya kids. Basically these kids tan WAY to much and look like orange umpa lompa's.
But, this is a culture that does allow you to bring your OWN booze to baseball matches... which I think is SICK! because you don't have to pay for OVERLY priced beer!... also, they sell beer at movie theaters... but the movies are OVERLY priced.
All in all, they are a great culture that needs to open their doors to more immigrants and they need to be more of an open country.
Hope this helps.
PS. they have no taxes which is going to be the downfall of there country.. |

They are cool. They contributed much in the field of technology and of course, entertainment. But does that make a difference in the way I see anyone else? No, I don't think so. I see everyone as equal human beings. :D |

The correct term would be "What do you think about Japan and Japanese?"
There is a lot of child labor in Japan... and Japanese people are alright I guess.. |
