Astronomically speaking, the world will end in about 5 billion years when the sun expands beyond earth's orbit, thus engulfing it. As to whether man will ruin the earth with bombs before that...lets never elect another George W. Bush.

i think the earth will end like in the movie.. "The Day After Tomorrow" well, cause of global warming, earth will soon end........... all the living and non-living things will be destroyed by different calamities........

The world does not end in any of the three major religions. It is changed by God.
Each has their own interpretation of the end times and when they will be but it is the end of an age and the beginning of a new one.
The Messiah, Jesus and Mahdi are all said to save man from himself.
I adhere to a strict literal translation of Bible prophesy and believe Jesus is the Messiah and that the end times prophecies are coming true as we speak.

In about five billion years the sun will expand enough to engulf the earth.

In a spectacular explosion....however all life will have died out millions of years before this as noxious and poisonous gasses will have built up and replaced the oxygen. I hope to be in heaven watching, and enjoying the show. Life will of course continue on the many other habited planets in the universe. Are we that naive to believe we are alone?

Chirstians and Muslims don't have a clue. Their books were written to control the uneducated masses. Almost every culture has a beginning and end of the world story of some sort.They can't all be right, can they? Our civilization will self destruct sooner or later. It's happened to all others in the past.The world itself will end when the sun becomes a red giant.This will fry everything maybe as far out as Mars.The earth will be toast.a burnt out cinder.This will result in the death of our entire solar system.

It will come after 5 billion years or more. The sun will start to die and will grow larger becoming a red giant. One by one Mercury, Venus will be destroyed by the growing sun. Then comes our dear planet.

Actually, the existence of the "World" will not end on any specific day in the future. Our personal worlds will end on the day each of us dies. Make sense?

As the Holy Bible vividly describes it, particularly in the book of Revelation. My faith is strong enough to believe that it will be like that.

According to Hindu Mythology( which it seems is not known to you at all, as you have only mentioned about Bible and Qua ran) this world will come to an end with WATER submerging all the LAND. With present conditions of Repeated Cyclones,Floods, Hurricanes Tornado, and Atmosphere Heating there is every possibility of this happening. Water Water Everywhere, but Not for drinking Only for Drowning is NOT FAR AWAY

as the Bible says, when God feels like it. But most likely, overpopulation = over consumption of resources = extinction. Hopefully we've colonized mars by then, rinse and repeat. Chances are we will probably die or move to another planet/galaxy way before the sun explode.

Nobody knows for sure, most of those presented as to how the world will end based on scientific theories are just theory, that are yet to be proven and requires further study.

Those based on biblical prophesies are nothing but wild guesses of goat herders who have written a book then declared it as holy, but never had the slightest idea what a matter is and believed that the world is flat. How in the name of the !dog can you believe that.

One thing is sure, the world is slowly deteriorating day by day, caused by human's neglect and abuse. It is humans who will cause the destruction of earth.
