Well, I've been working for over 25+days a month and over 16-18 hours a day (9 hours shift and 8-9 hours OT)... On a monthly basis, my OT hours goes for a minimum of 80-110 hours an average...
Tell me about graveyard shifts... LOL! |

i empathise with ya. eventhough i dont work 18 hours a day, i do about 12, sometimes more. and that 8 days a week. opes i meant 7. if i could stay overnight, i would have during the weekend.
it sucks. no life and people think i have too much imaginary work load. i hate it when that was commented.
i need to run away from this place. will you run with me |

no wonder you look like that,, by the way its against the labor law,, in malaysia,, complaint to your employers instead,, if you get fired,,, get some good sleep |

I could do it for a week only for the money. No employer should push their employees to work so many hours.
If you were self employed than that would be a different story. |

Personally, I can take about 1 18+ hour day before I fall into a robotic stupor.
I'd make an effort to form a union. Sadly, the Taft-Hartley act puts the law on the company's side of things. The Democrats have learned how to dip their hands into everyone's pockets, including big business. Their first interest appears to be with their biggest donors.
The Democrats have passed NAFTA and continue to subsidize the biggest corporations. Exactly why did we vote for the Democrats?
Vote Green, or at the very least vote for Mr. Ralph Nader for President. |

That depends on the remunerations - if it is so irresistible, maybe I could last a few months or even years... but if it negatively affects my duties as wife and mother - no, i won't even last a day. |

Tell me about it...
Graphic Designers and Ilustrators do it all the time...
My dad who's a graphic designer did a 24 hours thing fo 2 days straight and then slept a minimum of 4 to 5 hours then work again for the rest of the day!
Edit!: I did a 18+ hours a day during college to finish my comic entries for competitions while juggling classes and assignments. For about a month. Then when it was the final semester...you're lucky to get 4 hours of sleep while on a hectic college schedule for 7 weeks straight!. |

I've done that often when I first graduated. Did that each week for almost 9 months. Yup, it's graveyard shift on weekends too! |
