they are right, you have to be at least 18 years old ,
but the fact is, even a 5 year old kid can buy a liquor in a sari-sari store, no ids needed, no one really cares who's going to drink it. we had a little store when i was a kid, we sell liquors to anyone.. |

on paper its 18 but you can easily get away with it. Go to the shops and they sell booze and you can just buy it they don't check because its better being sold than sitting there in the store collecting dust right. Also in the clubs just blend in and if they give you any opposition just slip them alittle something to look the other way. |

I dont think they ever enforce the drinking age in the Phil....kids are often sent to buy booze for the parents, etc.

Under the law, you have to be at least 18 years old to legally drink alcohol. However, some bars do not enforce this and if you look old enough, they will allow you to drink. |
