How to unstuck a song stuck in the mind?

you can't. you are at the mercy of your brain. it only goes away if you play the song in its entirety over and over again until your brain gets saturated and doesn't want it anymore.

i've been in this situation before where i passed by a store and overheard an old song. hours later, the song was still in my head. so i took my earphones, plugged them into my ears and played the song repeatedly. good thing i had a copy with me.

Think of a song you don't especially like and sing it to yourself in its entirety.

read your favorite book and relax. listen to calming music. take my advice. i did it before.

That happened to me. I had a song stuck in my head for about 3 days until i played the whole song once it finally got out of my head. you should try and do that.Good luck hope it works.

i love those two tunes, lol...but i know what you mean...try watching a comedy to get your mind off of it - or, if you're really daring - a horror flick - that'll definitely get your mind off of it!
